Two time zones in India. It might sound weird to many people that why India needs two time zones when we are using one time zone since independence. Actually this issue was brought in the parliament a decade ago and implementation was studied that time. Our hitchhiking trip from Jibhi to McLeod Ganj continues. In the first part of this journey we made it from Jibhi to Palampur. Unfortunately Malin got travel sick and with only 50 kilometres left to McLeod Ganj we decided to cut the journey short and sleep one night in a hotel just before Palampur.
It's the next day and we hit the road again and have a very smooth day hitchhiking to McLeod Ganj. For the first time we get a ride with a Police officer. However, hitchhiking in India is supposed to be illegal.
