Summer in Tokyo - Tokyo Bay Firework Cruise
Japan is famous for its summer festivals including beautiful fireworks. In order to watch the Tokyo Hanami Taisei EDOMODE firework, which was held at Tokyo Bay, we decided to go on a cruise. Fireworks seen from the ground are beautiful - but how nice must it be to watch a firework from the sea? We had to check that out! And I am glad we did so. The Tokyo Bay firework cruise turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience!

Tokyo Bay ????-warming Cruise
Have you heard about the Symphony Cruise which takes you around Tokyo Bay on a gorgeous ship for over two and a half hours? The route of the cruise is heart-shaped. How cute!
This cruise is the only cruise passing Tokyo’s two famous bridges: Rainbow Bridge - which is the symbol of Tokyo Bay - and Tokyo Gate Bridge, which opened in 2012.
In addition, you can see Odaiba, container yards, TOKYO SKYTREE, Tokyo Disney Resort, Haneda airport etc. If you are lucky, you can also see the fireworks at Disney Resort.
Dining on board is a MUST! You can choose from meal plans such as French, Italian, couple sets, buffet and an all-you-can-drink plan at the bar. In addition, for those who just want to enjoy the scenery, there is also a plan without any meals.
The Symphony Cruises can be enjoyed regardless of the season or weather conditions, as the view from inside as well as from the deck is both nice. Why don’t you go on a cruise on a special day or to make some fun memories with your loved ones? This heart-shaped cruise will make everybody happy – for sure!

Guys, I've decided that I'm going to take a more direct and honest approach with you, my viewers. And part of that real talk has to do with something most Youtubers are not that willing to talk about - money.
The thing with Youtube ad-revenue is that it's a complete joke, and the only way smaller channels can earn an income worth the time spent making videos is with lots of low quality content, or sponsored content. I dont wanna play that game. I want to make the best videos possible for you, my viewers, but making good videos takes a ton of time, effort and money.
Thus, I started Patreon to help with the costs of producing these videos. There's a few of costs like: travelling around Tokyo, entrance fees and the cost of my time (hundreds of hours scripting, shooting, editing).
A lot of my fellow YouTuber friends are using Patreon so that their audience can support them directly. I would LOVE to make working on this channel my full-time job, so If you feel that my content is worth it then please have a look at my Patreon page and help me grow Tokyo Drew. Let's make awesome vids together:

Tokyo, Japan - Tokyo Monorail - Tennozu Isle Station to Hamamatsucho Station HD (2017)
Tokyo Monorail (東京モノレール Tōkyō Monorēru), officially the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line (東京モノレール羽田空港線 Tōkyō Monorēru Haneda Kūkō sen), is a monorail system connecting Haneda Airport in Ōta, Tokyo, Japan, to Monorail Hamamatsuchō Station in Minato, Tokyo. The trains operate along an elevated line that follows the coast of Tokyo Bay.
Tokyo is the capital city of Japan and one of its 47 prefectures. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. It is the seat of the Emperor of Japan and the Japanese government. Tokyo is in the Kantō region on the southeastern side of the main island Honshu and includes the Izu Islands and Ogasawara Islands. Formerly known as Edo, it has been the de facto seat of government since 1603 when Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu made the city his headquarters. It officially became the capital after Emperor Meiji moved his seat to the city from the old capital of Kyoto in 1868; at that time Edo was renamed Tokyo. Tokyo Metropolis was formed in 1943 from the merger of the former Tokyo Prefecture (東京府 Tōkyō-fu) and the city of Tokyo (東京市 Tōkyō-shi).
Tokyo is often referred to as a city, but is officially known and governed as a metropolitan prefecture, which differs from and combines elements of a city and a prefecture, a characteristic unique to Tokyo. The Tokyo metropolitan government administers the 23 Special Wards of Tokyo (each governed as an individual city), which cover the area that was the City of Tokyo before it merged and became the metropolitan prefecture in 1943. The metropolitan government also administers 39 municipalities in the western part of the prefecture and the two outlying island chains. The population of the special wards is over 9 million people, with the total population of the prefecture exceeding 13 million. The prefecture is part of the world's most populous metropolitan area with upwards of 37.8 million people and the world's largest urban agglomeration economy. In 2011, the city hosted 51 of the Fortune Global 500 companies, the highest number of any city in the world, at that time. Tokyo ranked third (twice) in the International Financial Centres Development IndexEdit. The city is also home to various television networks such as Fuji TV, Tokyo MX, TV Tokyo, TV Asahi, Nippon Television, NHK and the Tokyo Broadcasting System.
Tokyo ranked first in the Global Economic Power Index and third in the Global Cities Index. The city is considered an alpha+ world city – as listed by the GaWC's 2008 inventory – and in 2014, Tokyo was ranked first in the Best overall experience category of TripAdvisor's World City Survey (the city also ranked first in the following categories: helpfulness of locals, nightlife, shopping, local public transportation and cleanliness of streets). In 2015, Tokyo was ranked as the 11th most expensive city for expatriates, according to the Mercer consulting firm, and also the world's 11th most expensive city, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit's cost-of-living survey. In 2015, Tokyo was named the Most Liveable City in the world by the magazine Monocle. The Michelin Guide has awarded Tokyo by far the most Michelin stars of any city in the world. Tokyo was ranked first out of all fifty cities in the 2015 Safe Cities Index. The 2016 edition of QS Best Student Cities ranked Tokyo as the 3rd-best city in the world to be a university student. Tokyo hosted the 1964 Summer Olympics, the 1979 G-7 summit, the 1986 G-7 summit, and the 1993 G-7 summit, and Tokyo will host the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

This is some footage from a while ago when my friend Julian and I were in Japan. We had stayed in Tokyo but we also wanted to see Yokohama (biggest City in Japan after Tokyo) and Kamakura, which were both not that far from Tokyo. You can't walk through Kamakura without passing tons of beautiful japanese shrines. And Yokohama at sunset is mesmerizing. Definitely worth a visit!

A walk though of the Shinjuku area at dusk in Tokyo, Japan
Shinjuku is one of the most popular and busiest shopping, business, and entertainment areas in all of Tokyo and Japan. At all hours of the day, Shinjuku is packed with people shopping, eating, drinking, and exploring. The best time to visit Shinjuku is at night when all the bright lights come to life and the streets get packed.

Odaiba Tokyo - Tempura boats
You can take these boats from Asakusa and other locations. They serve tempura and as much sake and beer as you can consume. They anchor off Odaiba for a couple of hours while the passengers get ploughed, then return to their births at Tokyo.
