Narita Airport to Tokyo - Complete Japan Travel Guide
Here are tips to get to and from Narita Airport. I've lived in Japan for almost 15 years now and this advice is based on all my experiences. Hope this video helps.
Check out more info at
//Timelines//
0:12-Intro
0:13-1:07 Overview of transportation options to Narita Airport
The options are...
-Express Train - Narita Express and Keisei Skyliner
-Local Bus
-Bus - LCC and limousine
-Taxi
Basically LCC buses are the cheapest way to go, and express trains and limousine are about the same price.
1:08-1:28 Overview of express train
-Narita Express is great for people staying in south west area including Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo.
-Keisei Skyliner is great for people staying in north east area including Ueno and Nippori.
1:29-2:52 How to ride the express train
-From the Airport:
When you arrive at Narita Airport, go to B1. You will find RED Narita Express ticket booth and machines on the right and BLUE Skyliner ticket booth and machines on the left.
-To the Airport:
N'EX - Go to your nearest JR station to buy ticket. You can buy tickets even though express train does not stop at your nearest station.
Skyliner - Go to Nippori or Ueno to buy tickets.
2:52-4:05 Tips on express train
Tip 1 - Arrive to the station 15-20 minutes early (on return)
There is always a long line at the ticket booth and the platform to get on the train might be quite far from the gate so make sure to arrive early.
Tip 2 - Use ticket machine when in hurry
Usually you don't need to wait in line for ticket machines to buy a ticket and takes only about 5 minutes. Consider this as an option when you are in hurry.
Tip 3 - Sit at the front of the car
Luggage compartment is located at the front and the end of the each car of express train. People get stuck when getting the luggage upon arrivals. It is stressful to worry about if you can get out or not so it's good to sit at the front. (the end is ok too.)
Note: About tickets
when you buy tickets by credit card, you will receive 3 tickets - an express train ticket, receipt, and credit card receipt. You need to show only the train ticket to the train attendant.
CORRECTION: X 4 ticket → ◉ 3 tickets
(I was with my gf so we had 4 tickets.)
4:05 - 5:22 Bus
- LCC (Tokyo Shuttle and Access Narita) can take you to/from Tokyo and Ginza Station.
- Limousine Bus runs to/from major hotels.
5:23 - 6:05 How to take the bus
-Limousine Bus and Tokyo Shuttle - At Narita Airport on the first floor, you can find ticket machines and man booth.
-Access Narita - All you need to do is go to the train stop and pay on the bus. No reservation needed.

Japan Train Bento Top 8 Must-Buy at Tokyo Station | Japanese Street Food Tour
Japanese Street Food Tour and Japan Train Bento / ekiben Top 8 Guide at Tokyo Station. This Tokyo Guide shows what Shinkansen Bento to buy when at Tokyo Station for Japan travelers. This Food Tour of Tokyo Station reviews eikiben food shop options and recommends my favorite Japanese bentos. Street Food in Japan is amazing and the Japanese food offered at Tokyo station is a must try.
Tokyo station is one the main transportation hubs connecting local and shinkansen train lines. But what a lot of people don’t realize, is that Tokyo station has some of the most incredible food shops in Tokyo. And some of the bentos are a must pickup, before getting on a long shinkansen train ride.
Basically, there are 4 main bento shopping areas at Tokyo station. Ecute Keiyo Street, South Court Ecute, Ekibenya Matsuri and Gransta. Gransta is on the basement floor, while the other 3 are on the 1st floor.
Bento (弁当 bentō) is a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento holds rice or noodles, fish or meat, with pickled and cooked vegetables, in a box.
Containers range from disposable mass-produced to hand-crafted lacquerware. Bento are readily available in many places throughout Japan, including convenience stores, bento shops (弁当屋 bentō-ya), railway stations, and department stores.
Ekiben (駅弁, railway boxed meals) are a specific type of bento boxed meals, sold on trains and train stations in Japan. They come with disposable chopsticks (when necessary) or spoons. Ekiben containers can be made from plastic, wood, or ceramic. Many train stations have become famous for their ekiben made from local food specialties (tokusanhin).
Ekiben were first sold in railway stations in the late 19th century, and developed at a time when meals on train were necessary during a long train journey.
Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki) is a railway station in the Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan. The original station is located in Chiyoda's Marunouchi business district near the Imperial Palace grounds. The newer Eastern extension is not far from the Ginza commercial district.

JAPANTRIP 「Hibiya Park」Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo【日比谷公園】
The parkland used to be the palace area of the feudal load, Matsudaira Bizennokami,up until the end of the Edo period. Then it served as a military drilling ground during the early part of the Meiji period. Later this park was designed and constructed as the first westernized urban-style park in Japan, and opened to the public in 1903.
Two outdoor music halls and the Hibiya public hall show enthusiasm of the park designer as a forerunner of culture. Now we can enjoy beautiful flowers all the year around in the center of Marunouchi, one of the hottest business town in Japan.

5th Anniversary JAPAN Trip! - 2019
Had an incredible trip exploring Tokyo, Japan! We hit up the major spots including Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, Chiyoda, Ueno, and Kita City. Trip of a lifetime!
Raise your glass! Where locals and gourmets come together for a drink ... or two
The densely built-up area “Kanda” is located in close proximity to Tokyo Station and Akihabara. Kanda is known for its unique bar culture. Whether you walk down the main street or if you wander through the countless small alleys – or under the railway viaduct –, you will find individually designed bars and restaurants. If you feel like going out for a drink in Tokyo, you should definitely consider exploring the Kanda area!
When you visit Kanda for the first time, don’t forget to check out the “Kanda Information” stand at JR Kanda Station. The friendly staff will give you insider tips that you won’t find in any guidebook. Do you have a special wish? Which type of drinks would you like to try? Beer, wine, or sake? Do you prefer bright restaurants with a good atmosphere, where you can make friends with the guys at the next table? Or do you rather enjoy your drink undisturbed at a calm bar? There is a pub for every taste!
Once you’ve settled on a place to go, your “Kanda exploration” can begin. When you walk through the streets of Kanda you might notice that there aren’t a lot of restaurant chains. The area is known for its privately-run bars and small pubs with owners spending a lot of time thinking about the drinks and dishes they want to offer their guests. And that’s what the gourmet visitors to the district expect. Here you will be spoiled with excellent drinks, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious snacks. A bar in Kanda only survives this fierce competition if these criteria are met. That is why restaurant chains can’t last here. New bars sprout like mushrooms every month, but it is not unusual for a bar to disappear after a short period of time.
Here are some tips for visiting this quarter that might actually have the highest alcohol by volume in the city!
◆ ◆ ◆
◆ ◆ TAP × TAP
(2-9-18 Kaji-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
A restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, always offering 20 different craft beers from various small breweries all over Japan and around the world. You may find your new favorite beer here. The craft beer tastes even better when paired with savory French fries and tender roast beef – a specialty of this restaurant.
◆ ◆ GROOVY
(3-17-6 Uchikanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
Did you know that Japan is famous for its excellent whiskey? In this small bar, you can enjoy high-quality whiskey that you will hardly find anywhere else. This bar is a paradise for whiskey lovers. At the bar, it’s easy to get into a conversation with the bar owner and the regulars.
◆ ◆ KANDA NAMBAR
(2-11-15 C-9 Kaji-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
A tiny wine bar with a triangular layout, located under the railway viaduct. It has one table upstairs and even a tiny terrace. But if possible, you should stay at the bar. From there you can observe the cheerful bar owner cooking incredibly delicious dishes in his miniature kitchen. Most of the wines cost 500 yen. Also, you should make sure to try the curry!
◆ ◆ ◆
Our conclusion: there is no other place in Tokyo where you will find such a diverse and vibrant bar scene as in Kanda. Drift through the small streets and explore this exciting district!

Tokyo Station | Japan |
Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki) is a railway station in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan. The original station is located in Chiyoda's Marunouchi business district near the Imperial Palace grounds. The newer Eastern extension is not far from the Ginza commercial district. Due to its large area covered, the station is divided into Marunouchi and Yaesu sides in its directional signage.
Served by Shinkansen high-speed rail lines, Tokyo Station is the main inter-city rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day (over 3,000), and the fifth-busiest in Eastern Japan in terms of passenger throughput. It is also served by many regional commuter lines of Japan Railways, as well as the Tokyo Metro network.

Tokyo Imperial Palace Visit | Tokyo Japan Vlog
In this video, popular Singapore artiste and one of my best friends Youyi comes to visit, and we explore the grounds of Tokyo Imperial Palace together (rather blindly though), ending our day with fabulous food!
I forgot to check out the name of the cafe we went, but it is in the underground tunnel leading to Otemachi train station. I think.
The ramen shop is located in Ginza, which is just a few stops away.

Japan - 3 days in TOKYO! (1080p HD) | Magda T
TOKYO - Japan
Below is our 3 days' itinerary with some travel tips.
---------
The best way to travel in Tokyo is to use the public transport and walk. Tokyo has a very extensive system of transport including metro run by 2 companies - Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway and one rail company (JR). Most signage is available in English. The easiest way to get around is to purchase one of the prepaid transportation IC cards - Suica or Pasmo. These are usable on all lines and they work across Japan. You can purchase them at major station or airports. You can also use them to pay for items in some shops!
DAY 1:

Finally, dip the beef into a raw egg and then eat!

⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Walking in Japan's oldest Western-style Hibiya Park, Chiyoda City, Tokyo | Japan
Founded in 1903, Japan's oldest Western-style “Hibiya Park” is an oasis of calm in the heart of Tokyo. It is within easy walking distance of the Imperial Palace and Ginza. At the center of the park is a fountain inspired by a crane, the nationally popular bird that brings good luck.
The park is one of the largest within easy striking distance of the Marunouchi central business district to the northeast, so it is a popular spot for office workers when the weather is nice.
