Recently, attractions using 3D and VR technology are gaining popularity in Japan. The world's first free-roam VR shooting game ZERO LATENCY VR (Note: reservation is required in advance) is an attraction that you can't experience anywhere else. Up to six people fight together in a team using headsets with microphones to knock down enemies while moving freely around (no wires!) in a game arena.
Other thrilling attractions are Halfpipe Tokyo where you are standing on a snowboard which is speeding through a halfpipe and a 3D haunted house...OMG, that was too scary to be true!
Tokyo Joypolis is a great thema park with games and attractions for children up to adults. So if you are a big SEGA (or video game) fan or if its raining cats and dogs: this is the place to go!!

Ninja Experience in Tokyo!
Did you know that there are still ninja here in Japan?
In Tokyo, there is a ninja group called Musashi clan which has a long history and served the Tokugawa shogunate for 265 years during the Edo period, and is still continuing training.
The dojo where the Musashi clan teaches ninjutsu (the art of ninja) is close to the Tokyo Tower. Wear a ninja outfit at the dojo and experience shuriken (throwing star) and blow arrow techniques together with real ninja.

Our intention in going to Japan is to geek out to the maximum! I wanted to see One Piece's Going Merry Ship that's reportedly spotted there, but I asked around and they told me it's no longer there :( There are still so many things you can see in this place! You need to go really early: Gundam statue, One Piece exhibit and Pokemon Lab in Diver City, Giant Ferris Wheel in Pallette Town, History Garage and Toyota Museum. Just across is also Joypolis, an anime-themed amusement park.

諫山創さんの人気マンガが原作のアニメ「進撃の巨人」の世界観を体験できるイベント「進撃の巨人 Attack on Titan in JOYPOLIS」の内覧会が6月25日、東京ジョイポリス（東京都港区）で行われ、マンガに登場する人気キャラクター・リヴァイの等身大フィギュアなどがお披露目された。イベントは27日から公開される劇場版アニメ「劇場版『進撃の巨人』後編～自由の翼～」の公開を記念して開催され、東京ジョイポリスの人気アトラクションとのコラボやオリジナルコンテンツの上映などが行われる。27日から9月30日まで開催。
イベントでは、「立体機動装置」が付いたリヴァイの等身大フィギュアを展示。また、回転しながら高さ約7メートルまで上昇する東京ジョイポリスの人気アトラクション「ハーフパイプトーキョー」とコラボし、作中のキャラクターが声をかけてくれる演出などを実施する。そのほか、会場内のメーンステージで東京ジョイポリス限定のコンテンツ「進撃の巨人 Attack on Titan in JOYPOLIS スペシャルショー」を上映。テレビアニメ1期のダイジェスト編とキャラクター紹介編の2種類がプロジェクションマッピングで上映されるほか、超大型巨人が突然現れるタイムイベントも実施される。
内覧会にはお笑い芸人のスギちゃんと、アニメでミカサ・アッカーマン役を演じている声優の石川由依さんも登場した。
「進撃の巨人」は、諫山さんが2009年9月から月刊マンガ誌「別冊少年マガジン」（講談社）で連載している人気マンガ。圧倒的な力を持つ最大約50メートルの巨人たちを相手に人類が絶望的な戦いを挑む姿を描いた作品で、14年11月には1～13話を劇場版用に再編集した「劇場版『進撃の巨人』前編～紅蓮の弓矢～」が公開された。今月27日から「劇場版『進撃の巨人』後編～自由の翼～」が公開される。8、9月には2部作の実写版映画の公開も予定されている。

Life-size figure of Revival Lieutenant debuted! Attack on Titan in combination with Tokyo Joypolis
The private interview of the event “Attack on Titan in JOYPOLIS” which can experience the outlook of anime Attack on Titan (adapted from Hajime Isayama's popular manga) was held in Tokyo Joypolis (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on June 25th. A life-size figure of Revival – a famous character appeared in the debuted manga.
