Rainbow Live in Shibuya, Tokyo 12/02/1976
Happy 40th Anniversary Rainbow fans! I haven't uploaded this concert before, so this is new. Here is Rainbow performing their very first live concert in Japan. This was live at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (a.k.a. Tokyo Taiikukan in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan around 6pm on Thursday December 2nd, 1976. This recording comes from a bootleg entitled Legend of the Additional Performance.
A Note about the recording: This is an overall Mr. Peach recording, and his very first attempt to record Rainbow live. There are some parts from 3 songs that his recording was missing from this show so Tarantura filled in the missing sections with Aquarius' recordings to make up the gaps. Mr. Peach's recording dominates Aquarius' recordings in terms of sound quality. I am not sure if Mr. Peach's tape recorder was giving him issues this night or because this was his first attempt to record a Rainbow concert. Before Ritchie starts Mistreated usually with a soft guitar solo, a riot breaks out on the stage, Ritchie stops and leaves the stage for a few minutes until the promoter of this show had to come out and deal with the situation. Enjoy!
Ronnie Dio (R.I.P.) (✝) - Vocals
Ritchie Blackmore - Guitar
Tony Carey - Keyboards; Orchestron; Synthesizer
Jimmy Bain (R.I.P.) (✝) - Bass

Walking around Shibuya in Tokyo | 渋谷散歩
Walking around Shibuya in Tokyo let you explore the different sightseeing areas: such as Hachiko-statue
and Shibuya crossing. You can also check Shibuya center gai which is one a famous street. Then, I pass by the skyscapper which is Shibuya scramble square and Shibuya stream. My last destination at night was at Nonbei Yokocho. It is a small Japanese-style bar which has a nice scenery for you to watch at night. It was quite fun to explore. I hope you enjoy day and night street view in Shibuya.

???? Tokyo Walk - Exploring New Shibuya - Scramble Square & Shibuya Stream - 4K 60 FPS - Slow TV
It's been quite a while since my last video from Shibuya, and as this area changes faster than any other place I've ever been, I decided to shoot another video from the area.
In this video, I start in front of Shibuya Crossing, and walk past several well-known landmarks in the area, including some of the newer high-rise structures, like Shibuya Scramble Square, which just opened this November (2019) as well as Shibuya Stream, where Google have their new Tokyo HQ.
I hope you like this travel video from Tokyo. Please let me know if there are any other places you would like to see me visit, or if you have any other opinions about my movies. I would also be more than happy to hear if you have any ideas on what I can do to make my videos better / more interesting.

Shibuya was historically the site of a castle in which the Shibuya family resided from the 11th century through the Edo period. Following the opening of the Yamanote Line in 1885, Shibuya began to emerge as a railway terminal for southwestern Tokyo and eventually as a major commercial and entertainment center.
The village of Shibuya was incorporated in 1889 by the merger of the villages of Kami-Shibuya, Naka-Shibuya and Shimo-Shibuya within Minami-Toshima County (Toyotama County from 1896). The village covered the territory of modern-day Shibuya Station area as well as the Hiroo, Daikanyama, Aoyama and Ebisu areas. Shibuya became a town in 1909. The town of Shibuya merged with the neighboring towns of Sendagaya (which included the modern Sendagaya, Harajuku and Jingumae areas) and Yoyohata (which included the modern Yoyogi and Hatagaya areas) to form Shibuya Ward of Tokyo City in 1932. Tokyo City became Tokyo Metropolis in 1943, and the present-day special ward was established on March 15, 1947.
The Tokyu Toyoko Line opened in 1932, making Shibuya a key terminal between Tokyo and Yokohama, and was joined by the forerunner of the Keio Inokashira Line in 1933 and the forerunner of the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line in 1938. One of the best-known stories concerning Shibuya is the story of Hachikō, a dog who waited on his late master at Shibuya Station every day from 1923 to 1935, eventually becoming a national celebrity for his loyalty. A statue of Hachikō was built adjacent to the station, and the surrounding Hachikō Square is now the most popular meeting point in the area.
During the occupation of Japan, Yoyogi Park was used as a housing compound for U.S. personnel known as Washington Heights. The U.S. military left in 1964, and much of the park was repurposed as venues for the 1964 Summer Olympics. The ward itself served as part of the athletics 50 km walk and marathon course during the 1964 games.[1]
Shibuya has achieved great popularity among young people since the early 1980s. There are several famous fashion department stores in Shibuya. Shibuya 109 is a major shopping center near Shibuya Station, particularly famous as the origin of the kogal subculture. Called Ichi-Maru-kyū, which translates as 1–0–9 in Japanese, the name is actually a pun on that of the corporation that owns it — Tōkyū (which sounds like 10–9 in Japanese; this is numerical substitution, a form of goroawase wordplay). The contemporary fashion scene in Shibuya extends northward from Shibuya Station to Harajuku, where youth culture reigns; Omotesandō, the zelkova tree- and fashion brand-lined street; and Sendagaya, Tokyo's apparel design district.
During the late 1990s, Shibuya also became known as the center of the IT industry in Japan. It was often called Bit Valley in English,[citation needed] a pun on both Bitter Valley, the literal translation of Shibuya, as well as bit, the computer term for binary digits.
In 2015 Shibuya passed a local ordinance granting same-sex couples the right to partnership certificates; this made it the first place in Japan — or anywhere in East Asia — to recognize same-sex partnerships.[2]

Yoyogi Park
Yoyogi Park (代々木公園 Yoyogi kōen) is one of the largest parks in Tokyo, Japan located adjacent to Harajuku Station and Meiji Shrine in Shibuya.
What is now Yoyogi Park was the site of the first successful powered aircraft flight in Japan, on December 19, 1910, by Captain Yoshitoshi Tokugawa, after which it became an army parade ground. During the post World War II occupation, it was the site of the Washington Heights residence for U.S. officers. It was later the site for the main Olympic athletes village of the 1964 Summer Olympics and the swimming, diving, and basketball venues. The distinctive Yoyogi National Gymnasium which hosted swimming, diving, and basketball was designed by Kenzo Tange for the Olympics, and is still in use, but most of the area north of the gymnasium complex and south of Meiji Shrine was turned into a city park in 1967.
Today, the park is a popular hangout, especially on Sundays, when it is used as a gathering place for people to play music, practice martial arts, etc. The park has a bike path, a public basketball court[1], and bicycle rentals are available. As a consequence of Japan's long recession, there are several large, but quiet and orderly, homeless camps around the park's periphery.
