National Art Center, Tokyo Japan Travel Photography
I love this place! It's great for a sunny afternoon coffee break; it's great for get-togethers with old friends; and, of course, it's great for photographers!
The National Art Center, Tokyo, has a modern architecture design that is breathtaking and gorgeous. Depending on the time of day, the light and mood of the museum is different.
I spent a good hour in the morning and in the evening to capture the museum in two different kinds of light.

Order Made Family was the first project that Rica Takashima created and used Peekaboo-kun sculptures for a participatory public art.
This short video is a part of Talking about Amy, (director: Yorico Murakami 2006) a short documentary film that features artworks of Rica Takashima (Amy is Rica’s birth name).

About TALKING about AMY: A Documentary Short film
Talking about Amy is a colorful portrait of Rica Takashima, the founder of street performance art show Aozora Art, and also who is known as the author of gay comic book Rica-tte kanji!?.
This film is directed by LA based animator Yoriko Murakami, and shows Rica as an artist who has been constantly exploring alternative views of life through her works.
It is an 8-minute 20-second short film that includes CG animation, stop-motion animation, live action, and still photographs. Many of the images are from Aozora Art’s early period of work from around 1994 can be seen throughout the film. This DVD was included on the recommended list of a Sociology of Family and Sociology of Gender classes, taught by instructor: Terri Anderson at UCLA in 2009.

At Miki Meguro's art exhibition tonight, I was blessed to hear one of my favorite Tokyo musicians, French-Filipino singer-songwriter Martin Leroux. I was especially thrilled he played my favorite song of his, Red Light, starting at the 4:30 min. mark.

One of few Japanese museums where taking photo and video is allowed (except several places). Japanese history from ancient times till now.There are many models. You can try calligraphy and old Japanese calculators. Very likely video will not be popular but for me it was fun (they also have nice restaurant)
Filmed in UltraHD 4K with Lumix GH4 camera and Beholder DS-1 stabilizer.
