Adham Khan Tomb, also commonly known as the rest house is a Mughal era tomb located near Qutub Minar, Delhi. It is also referred to as Bhul-bhulaiyan, due to a labyrinthine maze inside and this is also the tomb of Adham Khan's mother, Maham Anga.

Adham Khan's Tomb (Exploring Mehrauli Village: MV1E02)
This walk explores the historic Mehrauli village, the area behind the famous Qutb complex. Mehrauli is built around the Sufi shrine of Bakhtiyar Kaki. Each monument in the neighbourhood has a story to tell: step wells where water smelled of sulphur, a tank where Prophet Muhammad left a mark, martyrdom site of Sikh hero Banda Bahadur, a palace of the Mughals and a still empty grave meant for the last Mughal emperor.

It is known popularly as Bul-bulaiyan (a Labyrinth or Maze), for a visitor often loses his way amidst the several passages in the thickness of its walls.

His mother after fortieth day of mourning also died out of grief, and both were buried in this tomb believed to be commissioned built by Akbar, in a conspicuous octagonal design, not seen in any Mughal building of that era, a designed perhaps designated to the traitors, as it was common design features visible in the tombs of the previous Sur Dynasty, and also the Lodhi dynasty now within the present Lodhi Gardens (Delhi), which the Mughals considered traitors.
In 1830s, a British officer named Blake of Bengal Civil Service, converted this tomb into his residential apartment and removed the graves to make way for his dining hall. Though the officer died soon, it continued to be used as a rest house for many years by the British, and at one point even as a police station and a post office. The tomb was vacated and later restored by the orders of Lord Curzon, and the grave of Adham Khan has since been restored to the site, and lies right below the central dome, though that of his mother Maham Anga never was.

Adham Khan tomb popularly known as Bhool Bhulaiya in Mehrauli is a stone's throw from Qutub Minar in Delhi. A marvelous piece of architecture and locals come here to take rest, especially those waiting for the bus near the bus terminal. But this places has been neglected by archeological department. Some pepole are know to drink here which is the reason this place is not visited by many tourists.

The Isa Khan tomb complex is a walled area adjacent to Humayun’s Tomb and is the resting place of Isa Khan Niyazi, a noble of influence at the court of Sher Shan Suri. A mosque and an octagonal tomb built in the Sur style are enclosed in Isa Khan’s walled complex. An inscription on a sandstone slab over the mihrab inside the tomb dates the construction to the Hijra year 954 (A.D. 1547-1548). The complex is the first historic structure encountered by visitors on entering the World Heritage Site complex of Humayun’s Tomb.

Quli Khan’s Tomb, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, is one of the most stunning tombs in the entire city of Delhi. Its magnificence is matched only by its seclusion. Annexes were added to the tomb by Sir Thomas Metcalfe, the British Agent (negotiator) at the court of the Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah “Zafar” II, from 1835-53 A.D. who bought the tomb and converted it into his monsoon retreat.

The tomb of Mohammed Shah known as Mubarak Khan- Ka-Gumbad in Lodi Garden, New Delhi खूबसूरत मकबरा
The architectural austerity practiced during the Tughluq dynasty was relaxed under Sayyid rule. Ornamental details were once again incorporated into architectural expression, though the utilization was still prudent. Due to the inheritance of greatly diminished state coffers, the Sayyid's could not commission monumental buildings. As a result, their architectural legacy manifested in small tombs and mausoleum built throughout Delhi. The city became a veritable necropolis leading this period to be known as the 'macabre' reign, a word perhaps derived from 'maqbara' (cemetery) in Arabic. Also during this period came a renewed interest in melding Hindu and Islamic art traditions and motif.
The tomb of Muhammad Shah IV, the third ruler of the Sayyid dynasty, is one of the larger tombs surviving from this period. It is located within the Lodi Gardens that was designed by the Sayyids and Lodis in the fifteenth and sixteenth century. It is based on a configuration used mostly for royal tombs-an octagonal chamber ringed by an outer arcade, while square tombs were for high-ranking members of society. The width of each of the octagonal faces of the arcade is 32'-9 (10m), equivalent to the height that includes the base and the corner pinnacles (guldasta). Each face is pierced by three arched openings with a running 'chhajja' (overhanging eaves supported by stone corbels) above. The corner of the octagon is reinforced by a sloping buttress.
The central dome sits on a sixteen-sided high drum, giving the tomb greater verticality. Hindu influence is reflected in the eight 'chhatris' that ring the dome, each centered and in line with a face of the octagon. The dome of each 'chhatri' is a smaller version of the central dome, each capped by a lotus finial with a decorative band around the base.
The tomb chamber is an octagon measuring 26'-3 (8m) in diameter. The ceiling is decorated with carved stucco using circular designs with arabesques and calligraphic motifs. The main entrance is through the south, though each side of the chamber has a beam and lintel doorway. There are eight graves inside, the central one is believed to be that of Muhammad Shah.
The tomb is considered a refinement of the tomb built for Mubarak Shah, father of Muhammad Shah. Muhammad Shah's tomb is more compact in plan with a higher dome that lends it better proportionality and is more pleasing visually.
