Travel | How to spend your 6-day Vacation in Saint Petersburg, Russia
#StPetersburg #Vacation #Travel
We spent 6 days in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
For pinoys, specially those living in Dubai, who’s still thinking to visit the city, it’s highly recommended.
This is a budget trip but very enjoyable.
The metro/bus card only cost us RUB 585 (38AED) and it is already 6 days unlimited.
Food and all other stuffs are relatively cheaper than anywhere else I’ve been to (manila, bangkok, Dubai).
So how did we ended up going to Saint Petersburg, Russia?
Just few months ago, it was announced that Filipinos including 53 other nationalities are eligible for free e-visa starting Oct 1, 2019 and is valid for 8 days stay.
You can apply for e-visa on the link below:
The only requirement is a valid passport, and the online application form (be really careful filling this up).
We booked our plane tickets a month before the trip so we got the best price.
The hotels are very affordable as well. We stayed in Soul Kitchen hostel which is highly recommended too. It’s really really affordable. It just cost us (3 beds for 5 days) for just 10k RUBS (500AED). It is advised to book directly on their website.
This is definitely worth visiting.
It is our first snow fall experience and it’s priceless.

St. Petersburg, Russia (2019) - Exploring the city VLOG
#StPetersburg, Russia is a beautiful city that everyone needs to visit (not to mention filled with so much history!).
Come with me as I visit some of the best places in the city including the Winter Palace and the Palace Square, the Catherine Palace in Pushkin (PRO TIP: to avoid long lines, come around 6:30pm/7:00pm - trust me on this!), walking on the streets of St. Petersburg and seeing the Church of the Saviour on Blood. I also went to VKFest (a music festival) and saw some of my favorite singers including Egor Kreed, Tima Belorusskix, Elka, Olga Buzova & more. Another cool place to visit (6 hours from the city though) is Ruskeala - very beautiful marble canyon!

(Ep. 30) Yusupov Palace - Museum in St. Petersburg: Tsar Events' RUSSIA SURVIVAL GUIDE
Tsar Events' RUSSIA SURVIVAL GUIDE with Maya Krivchenia: Russian museums. St. Petersburg - YUSUPOV PALACE #RussiaSurvivalGuide
For centuries the Yusupovs had been tsars’ trustworthy and favorite associates.
The Palace on Moika became the Yusupovs' family residence in 1820 and until Bolshevik Revolution remained the richest aristocratic house of Russia. The Yusupov Palace acquired its present appearance in the course of palace’s constructions from 1760 till 1850 done by the famous architects of the time. The staterooms in neoclassical style are remarkable for their rich and elegant decoration. The unique West European works of art as well as musical instruments of the 19th century adorn the palace interior. The germ of the palace is the unique Domestic Theatre built in the Rococo style as a miniature of the world-known Marinsky Theatre.
Yusupovs' palace on Moika is notoriously famous for Rasputin's murder that took place in one of the cell rooms on 16-17 December 1916. The exhibition dedicated to Grigory Rasputin is set up in the original rooms where the tragedy took place.
The exhibition dedicated to Grigory Rasputin is set up in the original rooms where the tragedy took place.
The Rasputin exhibition can be visited only with a tour. Visit can be organized upon request only.
Yusupov palace has never become a museum. In 1919 it was nationalized and in 1925 became Teachers' Community house.

St Petersburg, Russia - Day 1 - Baltic Cruise 2018
Join me in St Petersburg, Russia as we take a walking tour and visit the Church of the savior on spilled blood. This was part of a Baltic cruise that we took in September 2018.
We decided to take a ship excursion in Russia due to the visa's required to visit Russia alone. It is possible to get your own visa and visit Russia alone/on a private tour but in this instance, we thought it would be easier to take a ship excursion and let the cruise line sort out the visas.
We head back to the Marella Discovery for dinner in 47 degrees before spending the evening in Bar Eleven, the theatre and at karaoke!
