The city lies on the southern edge of Gdańsk Bay (of the Baltic Sea), in a conurbation with the city of Gdynia, spa town of Sopot, and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity (Trójmiasto), with a population near 1,400,000. Air Canada rouge inaugural flight to Warsaw Includes Water Salute
MONTREAL, June 15, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The arrival of flight AC1926 from Toronto-Pearson at Warsaw Chopin Airport this morning further expands Air Canada Rouge's presence in Central Europe. The non-stop seasonal service, operating four-times a week, makes Air Canada the only Canadian airline offering non-stop service between Canada and Poland.
We are pleased to add Warsaw, the Polish capital and a European cultural hub, to our growing international network. This service is the only route between Canada and Poland operated by a Canadian carrier and it is our third new destination in Central Europe this summer, after Prague and Budapest. Apart from Warsaw being a major tourist market for North Americans, there are also many people of Polish heritage in North America and this new service will make it convenient for family, friends and relatives to visit one another by connecting through our Toronto-Pearson global hub on our extensive network, said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines, at Air Canada.
Flights will be operated with an Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767-300ER, featuring Premium Rouge and Economy cabins. Flights will depart Toronto on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and return Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Warsaw, with the service operating until September 30, 2016. Flights are timed to optimize connectivity to and from Air Canada's Toronto-Pearson global hub. All flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access, priority boarding and other benefits.
The new Toronto-Warsaw service is part of Air Canada's ongoing international expansion. For this summer, Air Canada has also started new international services between Toronto-Glasgow, Toronto-Budapest, Toronto-London-Gatwick, Toronto-Prague, Montreal-Casablanca, Vancouver-Brisbane and Vancouver-Dublin, and will soon launch other services between Toronto-Seoul and Montreal-Lyon. Last year, Air Canada launched new international services between Toronto-Delhi, Toronto-Amsterdam, Toronto-Dubai, Montreal-Venice, Montreal-Mexico City and Vancouver-Osaka.

Ibis Budget: Stare Miasto, Krakow | Hotel & Room
The Ibis Budget hotel was a perfect, cheap and cheerful place to stay whilst visiting Krakow for a short city break in March. Just a short walk from the shopping centre and old town, it made for a perfect base to begin our adventure. The hotel allowed us to book excursions to see other locations in Krakow, with a direct transfer from the hotel and tour guides. This is preferable to some of the local tourism operators which require you to walk through the old town and a fair distance to reach the meeting point.
This hotel was well maintained, clean, hygienic, compact and perfect for a short break. Altneratively you can visit the higher end part of the hotel which has more services, and better equipped rooms.
Location: Ibis Budget, Stare Miasto, Krakow, Poland.

???? Beers from Poland ????????Poland is Europe's third largest beer producer Polish beers crispy boy piwo
Beer in Poland has been brewed for well over a thousand years, but in the modern age, most beer is mass-produced. Beer has been made there for around a thousand years and the country has a significant history of commercial beer production. Poland is Europe's third largest beer producer, producing 36.9 million hectolitres, coming after the UK with 49.5 million hl and Germany with 103 million hl.[1]
Following the Second World War, most breweries were nationalized under the puppet Soviet-imposed communist regime. After the collapse of the communist regime, a market economy was introduced, international beer companies moved in and a period of consolidation followed. Three companies now control 80% of the Polish beer market (according to data at the end of 2014). At the end of 2013, there were 97 breweries in Poland, including microbreweries and contracted breweries. The most popular Polish beers are Żywiec, Okocim and Tyskie.
Beer from small regional breweries, grouped in the Association of Polish Regional Breweries (Stowarzyszenie Regionalnych Browarów Polskich), crafts, contracted breweries and brewpubs has become very popular and desired by consumers.#polishbeer

Full Train Journey in Poland: SKM Line S2 to Warsaw Airport - Pesa Elf 27WE
This is a video of me riding Line SKM of the SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska, Fast City Rail) of Warsaw from the city centre to the airport. Warsaw Airport is served by 2 rail companies SKM and KM (Koleje Mazowieckie, Masovian Railways). It usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes to reach the airport from the city centre.
For this journey, I used the 24 hour ticket I bought the previous day. Since I am still within the 24 hour period after I first validated my ticket, the ticket is still usable. It was a bright and sunny day so the view should be much better than the ride from the airport.
Once I reached the airport, the passage to the terminal can be found just beyond the front end of the train. Then it was time to fly back to London Heathrow on British Airways Club Europe!
