Znojmo is a city in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, near the border with Lower Austria.
The city is situated on a rock outcropping on the steep left bank of the Dyje River, and retains a number of examples of its medieval architecture. The Gothic Church of St. Nicholas and the Late Gothic Town Hall tower are the most recognizable landmarks.

Situated halfway between Prague and Vienna in the south of the Czech Republic, Telč was once an important centre of trade and today is considered to be the country’s most beautiful mediaeval town. In the Great Fire of 1530, all of the city’s timber buildings were burned to the ground and in the years that followed a market was established which added a further vibrant aspect to the Gothic, Renaissance and Early Baroque buildings around it. Each building has a picturesque arcade of approximately the same height, and one to two storey buildings with three arcades line up like pearls on a string. In the mid sixteenth century the town’s former Gothic water castle was the property of the Lord Of Hradec. It was subsequently extended and transformed into a magnificent Renaissance castle. The Golden Hall is the castle’s most imposing room and fills the entire north wing. Its ceiling is decorated with octagonal coffers, masterpieces of the art of wood carving. Telč is an historical treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Having been parts of the German Holy Roman Empire, the influence of German culture is strongly evident in the urban architecture of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The very first German university was established in Prague and not in the present territory of Germany Undamaged in the Second World War, Prague gives an idea of how German cities looked like before the devastating bombing raids. Liberec and Telc were formerly known as Reichenberg and Teltsch, and were inhabited by ethnic Germans, who were brutally expelled after the end of the Second World War as from all of the erstwhile Sudetenland which was part of Germany. The inner city of Prague and Telc are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is almost a suburb of Vienna, and was known as Pressburg, when German speakers were dominant.

I wanted to show you guys the color of the button of the elevator caller. I decided for this video not to use commentary because I used commentary on the last OTIS ThyssenKrupp hydraulic elevator videos. This elevator is slow and it is old but I still like it because everything is so awesome including the fixtures. This video is short because I didn't have enough time and I had to leave because I was done returning something and I decided to make a quick video. I made another video when I returned to Macy's. And, yes this was shot at the Macy's at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, NJ just so you guys know. I was on UL and I descended 1 floor and stopped at ML.
