Prophet Muhammad's Hair - Dubai Museum [HD] (and Allah knows Best)
Plait Hair Of The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him from 1,400 Years Ago ~ The Hair has been found with an old manuscript indicates that it belongs to the Messenger of Allah pbuh took place after a long journey to Yemen. It is painted with musk and other aromatic oils continuously, causing the color to change from black to brown. The man at the beginning of the video said that the hair is always growing, Although if you took the top of the middle of Prophet's head hear then it will be the same length as the hair on this video. the Prophet has a soft and long hair up to his lower back and to his broad shoulders, And in general the Arabs before Islam and at the time of the Prophet and after him, especially the people of the desert and the migration, they let their hair grow until it reach their backs and stomachs, but that has nothing to do with the Muhammad's hair because his hair grows permanently. There can be no healthy hair since 1400 except for the hair of the Prophet peace be upon him.
Some Muslims saying that It's a Shirk or Wrong but without knowledge or clear evidence from the Quran or Sunnah? Why it's Shirk if this hair belongs to the Prophet? Many of correct Hadiths said that the Prophet was giving his hair to Muslims after each Hajj and Umrah. So the Question is, Why did he give them his hair? The Second point is, This hair is placed in the museum as a piece of Archeological of the Prophet, such as his Swords and his Objectives and the Sahaba stuffs that have been established in other museums in the World. Museums can not put something without Analysis or Evidence and official documents for visitors. Thirdly, When the sheikh was kissing the hair, there is nothing wrong on it as we kiss the food when it fall on the ground or the Quran. The last point is, if you have a hair of the Prophet today, will you throw it or will u keep it and show it to the world?
I will put the hadiths in this link:

The rise and fall of the American fallout shelter
Whatever happened to fallout shelters? And would they have actually worked?
Watch Duck and Cover with us:
Phil Edwards on Facebook:
In this episode of Vox Almanac, Vox's Phil Edwards looks at the history behind one of the Cold War's more unusual legacies — the fallout shelter. Of course, any history of the fallout shelter has to include nuclear proliferation, civil defense, Presidential politics, and a turtle named Bert.
The video above serves as a condensed history of the Cold War’s fallout shelter fad, from the kookily cheerful propaganda videos to the hobbled Federal agencies that tried to administer Civil Defense. Yes, it includes the classic Cold War film Duck and Cover, in which a bomb-fearing turtle named Bert teaches kids that hiding under their desks could be sufficient protection from nuclear annihilation.
Any history of fallout shelter culture (and Cold War propaganda) becomes an indirect history of Cold War nuclear escalation, from Hiroshima-sized bombs to hydrogen behemoths. As the nuclear threat increased in magnitude, the absurdity of civil defense amped up simultaneously.
This video (and a day spend trawling the Internet Archive for darkly humorous videos) provides a more intimate portrait of Cold War paranoia as it was lived. Paired with Kenneth Rose’s comprehensive book about fallout shelter culture, it’s a look at daily life with the bomb — even when that daily life included the occasional jaunt to a thick-walled concrete bunker a few feet underground.

Hampshire Mall - Raw & Real Retail
This is our walkthrough of the Hampshire Mall from January 23, 2019. This is a bittersweet tragic story where by The Pyramid Company finds itself with a dead mall on their hands, so they do what they think they need to do to stay current, they rip out any interesting architectural features and put in a lot of entertainment venues like bowling alleys, laser tag, go carts, etc. The food court was transformed into a sort of New Orleans type town center motif and while some might find this charming, I personally think it looked way better before.
Check out our ongoing series of dead and dying shopping malls!
Songs used in this video (in order):
Syd Dale - Won't You Join The Dance
Syd Dale - Doodle
John A. Coleman - Endeavour Suite
Steve Gray - Wonder Groove
Please do check out this excellent writeup from the Caldor Rainbor blog, it was done pre-renovations and has some excellent pictures of what the mall used to look like:
For brevity, here is the wikipedia article:
Hampshire Mall is a primarily one-story shopping mall with a small second floor in Hadley, Massachusetts, United States, with approximately 55 stores owned by The Pyramid Companies. Current anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, PetSmart and Target. The mall is home to Interskate 91 North, a roller skating rink on the second floor. Attached to the skating rink is LaserBlast: Ancient Adventure (a Lasertag facility that was formerly home to LaserStorm).
When the mall opened in 1978 it was anchored by JCPenney, Steiger's and Kmart.
The Steiger's store was demolished in 1994 for Media Play. The Media Play store opened August 10, 1995. Kmart closed in 2002 because of the chain's bankruptcy. In 2003 the former Kmart space was rebuilt and extended to house a Target store. Originally the mall contained a six screen movie theater that existed from 1978 to 1999. This was then expanded to a 12-screen Cinemark movie theater in 2000.
A 45,000 sq ft Dick's Sporting Goods store opened in early 2005, replacing a former Eastern Mountain Sports. Best Buy and Steve & Barry's replaced Media Play in early 2005. Steve & Barry's filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008 and subsequently closed their Hampshire Mall store in August 2008 and it replaced by the racetrack.
Walmart developers beginning in 2005 wished to build a new 212,000-square-foot Supercenter southeast of Hampshire Mall. However, there have been various hindrances as a consequence of a bylaw designed to keep out large stores by restricting new stores to 75,000 square feet. After two years of negotiations, on November 20, 2007, a subdivision plan that exempted the planned Walmart Supercenter from the current bylaw restrictions was approved. Developers have eight years to get a site plan approved before the exemption expires. This would almost certainly mean the current store, attached to the east end of Mountain Farms Mall, would close.
In February 2009 Buffalo Wild Wings opened a store between Target and Best Buy. The restaurant got into a dispute with the mall because of an alleged faulty roof that led to a buildup of condensation on the premises. The Pyramid Corporation did not agree to carry out repairs and as a consequence some amount of the rent was withheld. Whether the restaurant never paid any rent or did pay some rent is disputed. The case is currently in litigation. On July 29, 2010 they announced that they lost their lease as of August 1, 2010. The space is now closed. Platterpus Records closed down its store in March 2010. In June 2010 the store reopened in Easthampton, Massachusetts. In August 2015, it was announced that Best Buy would close their doors on October 31 and in 2016, Spirit Halloween opened in the former Best Buy space for 2 months.PetSmart opened in the former Best Buy space in April 2017.
Inside Juvenile Detention
As recently as 2005, the state of Virginia had eight centers like Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Facility, housing more than 1,300 delinquent youth. But by 2017, after a series of reforms, that number had shrunk to one.
“It's not that you can't do good work here,” said Andy Block, who, since 2014, has served as the juvenile-justice department’s director. “But the place itself and the design and the size and the location are barriers to doing good work.” Block and others are working to close Bon Air and replace it with something that reflects the juvenile justice reforms that have taken hold in Virginia and across the country—a system that once focused on confinement is now dedicated to rehabilitation. In recent years, more than 70 percent of Virginia's juvenile inmates were rearrested within three years of their release.*
Read more on The Atlantic:
*This documentary originally stated that Virginia has one of the highest recidivism rates in the country. This characterization was based on incomplete data. The documentary also stated that the three-year rearrest rate for current Bon Air inmates would be 74 percent. This was the rate for former juvenile inmates in Virginia in 2014. We regret the errors.

There are few cities in the world that can compare to Jerusalem in terms of ancient history and religious significance. It’s one of the most fascinating cities in the world, and it’s a city that I’ve wanted to visit my entire life. Finally, along with my friend David ( and Rafram, we explored Jerusalem to discover the food treasures the city has to offer - and let me tell you, you’ll find some incredibly delicious food in Jerusalem!
We started off the Jerusalem food tour by first walking around East Jerusalem and starting with the best plate of hummus I’ve ever had. We then toured around Old Jerusalem, and enjoyed some incredible Palestinian food kebabs cooked by an incredible man who cooked with serious love and passion. Another highlight in Jerusalem was the mutabak, a thin pastry stuffed with cheese and baked.
After eating our way through Old Jerusalem, we then headed into West Jerusalem and went to lunch at an Israeli Jewish restaurant serving a mix of amazing dishes. The food was home-cooked in style, and absolutely sensation. A few more snacks and sightseeing throughout the afternoon, and that brought us all the way to dinner where David had made reservations to eat at one of the hottest restaurants in Jerusalem, Machneyuda Restaurant. It was quite an experience, and an amazing meal and lively atmosphere to wrap up this ultimate Jerusalem food tour.
Here’s all the food and places included in this Palestinian food and Israeli food tour of Jerusalem:

Thank you again to David ( and Rafram for showing me some of the best food in Jerusalem!

Around the Corner with John McGivern | Program | Westosha (#505)
[Latest Airdate: October 18, 2018]
[Original Airdate: February 4, 2016]
Where? That's what we thought. Just make your way to Brass Ball Corners. Of course if you're not a local, you're still lost. So google Wilmot, Twin Lakes, Paddock Lake, Salem, Bristol... These towns and others west of I-94 within Kenosha County make up the area now known as Westosha.
But even once we got there we weren't always sure where we were. Rural Wisconsin? Lake Country? Key West Florida? Small Town USA? 16th Century England? Within Westosha, you can feel like you are in any or all of those places.
What did we find? Cheese, lakes, horses, winged sprint cars, more cheese, charming small towns, more horses, waterskiing nuts, great food, the Ren Faire, scenic views that stole our breath away and people who stole our hearts.
While we were in Westosha, we often heard people describe it as the quiet side of Kenosha County. Well, John enjoyed everyone we talked to so much that he's decided to stop in more often. So be warned: it might not be the quiet side of Kenosha County for long!

TRUST Oregon: Kelsey, a 16-year-old from Eugene, Is Passionate About Preserving This Beautiful Earth
| Kelsey Cascadia Rose Juliana is 16-years old and from Eugene, Oregon. When Kelsey was young, she learned how polar bears were being impacted by climate change. She soon realized that just as polar bears are having to adapt, people are too.
In the rainy state of Oregon, warmer temperatures resulting from climate change means more rain and less snow during the winter months. This change affects Oregon's water cycle. When precipitation falls in the form of snow, it stays on the ground throughout the Cascades melting slowly as winter turns to spring, then summer. When precipitation falls as rain, the water runs off immediately, it isn't stored for the summer months, it causes flooding and leaves forest drier for longer period of time. This, in turn, increases the risk, intensity and severity of forest fires. Warmer temperatures also threaten Oregon's coastline, ocean food supplies and infrastructure in coastal towns.
Kelsey understands that we cannot take the health of our air and water for granted. That is why she, along with youth from across the country are, bringing legal action against our governments and asking them to protect our atmosphere. To find out how you can support Kelsey and the youth across the country that are making a difference for all our lives, watch her film then go to Our Children's Trust [ ] and the iMatter Campaign [ ].
