TURKEY'S BEST Kept Secret. Welcome to KAS in Antalya. Travel to the South of Turkey ????????
Welcome to the South of Turkey. This week we’re in Kaş Turkey! This ended up being one of our favourite towns that we visited while in Turkey and is definitely a gem in Southern Turkey.
Save up to $55 USD our your first AirBNB booking:
To start off the video we head just slightly outside of town where we discover an amazing ancient amphitheater called the Hellenistic theatre, it dates back to about 100 BC and holds about 4000 people. We walk around a bit, take in the views and fly the drone for better views.
Later on we head into the beautiful town, do some shopping and also try the most popular drink in Turkey- Turkish tea as well as Apple Tea.
Afterwards we check out what Kaş offers as far as beaches. First we check out a beach right in town, it’s small but beautiful and also surrounded by lots of hotels and restaurants where you can stay for the day. After this we walk about 20 minutes outside of town to another of the incredible beaches, this one is called Büyükçakıl Plajı or Big Pebble Beach.
To finish off the day, we head back to our apartment rental, do a quick tour of the property and then take in the most amazing sunset!
ABOUT KAS
Kaş is a seaside town on the Mediterranean coast in southwestern Turkey. The modern town occupies the site of ancient Antiphellos, with still-visible ruins including a theater. The 4th-century-B.C. Lion Tomb, with 2 carved lion heads, is one of many Lycian rock tombs in the area. The town center has whitewashed houses and buildings covered in bougainvillea. The Lycian Way, a marked trail, passes by the town.
ABOUT TURKEY
Turkey is a nation straddling eastern Europe and western Asia with cultural connections to ancient Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires. Cosmopolitan Istanbul, on the Bosphorus Strait, is home to the iconic Hagia Sophia, with its soaring dome and Christian mosaics, the massive 17th-century Blue Mosque and the circa-1460 Topkapı Palace, former home of sultans. Ankara is Turkey’s modern capital.

Super mega daily boat party in Antalya, Turkey
Russian boat party in Antalya, Turkey. Super fun and very nice daily boat trip ... also with foam dancing !!!
TRAVEL GUIDE | Antalya Turkey (a must see) with Turkish boyfie! What to do, eat, where to party, etc
Planning your ultimate trip to Turkey? You might want to add Antalya on your list! Here's some things you must try and remember when going to the Mediterranean and Asian side of Turkey! It is so full of everything your eyes and heart will be filled with fun and joy!
Antalya is in the southern part of Turkey and is always too crowded during Summer by Turkish, Europeans, Russians and nearby countries due to its vibe and it's definitely cheaper than other Med countries like Spain, Italy and France. People are nice and warm and speaks many languages too!
*TRANSPORTATION* Its so easy to travel in Antalya, they have buses, train, taxis (we weren't able to cove this but maybe on our next travel there just BE CAREFUL because they price really high sometimes) AMAZING INFO when we forgot to buy a ticket for the train from the airport my card (N26) worked! I'm not sure of other credit cards but it was just amazing! Most of taxi drivers and public transportation in Side accepts USD and EUR but better to always bring Turkish Lira with you.
*HOTELS* so many to choose from but we actually stayed in Von Resort in Side and a hostel in Kemer (i'll post the name of the budget hotel later). Most of the hotels in Side have All-in package full board meals and lots of activities!
*FOOD* don't forget to try the sea foods and side dishes in our video! its so yummy! you'll get very full in Antalya
*PARTY* here is CRAZY! make sure you check the opening of party because its not open all year round! we were here during spring and there's only 1 bar open and this is it
*TOURIST SPOTS* we watched anatolia in Aspendos at night so we need to go back and see it during daylight. 5 days is just not enough! BUT enjoy our tour in Caleici and Side!
*ENTERTAINMENT* If you want to see the show check their schedule because they usually tour around the world!

Turkey Vlog 7 | Drive to Pamukkale | Antalya Old Town
We drove up to Pamukkale from Antalya with a car we had hired from the resort reception desk. The car was pretty beat up, but the heater worked, so that was alright. The day started off bright and sunny and we were praying for this weather to continue. However, things turned for the worse and we were welcomed by a wall of cloud and mist as we neared Denizli. The gray weather continued till we reached Pamukkale and we had snacks to lift our mood along the drive. It started to drizzle as we went up the cotton castles at Pamukkale. Then it caught up and started to pour. We got some lentil soup up top and warmed up by the heater alongside the cats that had gathered there. We had to skip Hierapolis, even though it was right there, because we were cold and wet. We decided to wade down the hot-stream channel down the chalk ways and soon realized that the current was very strong. We were knee deep in (warm) water though and getting hit by the rains from above. We got back to our car, took the now wet jackets off and switched on the heater. We drove back in rain and this rain continued until next evening, so we spent most of our time holed up in our room watching Netflix. We got out the next day, just in time to catch some sun by the beach and took off for Antalya Old town. It was charming and full of cats and old things, we had dinner at a Vegan joint called Rokka Pizza Falafel. We had a longish chat with an old gentleman at the bust stand and headed back to the resort.

Turkey Road Trip day 5 Fethiye, Oludeniz, Butterfly Valley, Antalya. by Life Travel Pepper
Getting up in the morning and looking at Fethiye blue coast was something breathtaking!!!
We decided to start the day by enjoy Calis beach and relaxing on the sand. To recover energies we delighted ourselves with a fantastic breakfast that Yasmin Hotel offered us and drank the famous turquish tea, always present on the turquish meals.
Full of energy we got on the road again, inspired by what we would discover during the day…Oludeniz and the Butterfly Valley!!!
As we were arriving at Oludeniz we could felt on our bodies the beauty that was presented to us on the horizon…turquoise coast on it´s magnificence!!! Strong blue, hot, and stunning beaches in the middle of gorgeous curved bays!!!! We just wanted to lay down and enjoy the day, and so we did it at the Green Pine beach, surrounded by a beautiful green camp with little huts where we could rest for a while and big straw umbrellas near the warm water.
Saddly, we got quiet disappointed when we realized that on that day and the next it was not possible to get on a boat trip to Butterfly Valley because the ocean was a bit sloppy (boat trip is the only way to get to that fantastic valley nowadays). So, we decided to go watch it from the high view point on the mountain and at least getting it on video with the drone. Better than nothing!!!!
After a nice meal during the afternoon, we started a new course, crossing for a long time a few high, rocky and craggy mountains surrounded with beautiful landscapes.
At night we finally arrived at Antalya, a vibrant city of people, with small paths and thrilling restaurants and stores, where we had a delicious dinner and a nice walk on foot before we go rest at Casa Sur Hotel, a cozy and striking house , two steps across the famous Hadrian´s gate.
