Führerstandsmitfahrt Ferrocarril de Soller von Palma de Mallorca bis Sóller
Man nennt sie Ferrocarril de Sóller oder Tren de Sóller. Gemeint ist die historische Eisenbahn von Mallorca, welche die Hauptstadt Palma mit Sóller verbindet. Die Eisenbahnstrecke wurde bereits im Jahre 1912 gebaut und hat eine Länge von knapp 30 Kilometern. Pennula hatte die Möglichkeit, eine Führerstandsmitfahrt mit der Kamera zu filmen. Gezeigt wird in diesem Film die Strecke von Palma de Mallorca nach Sóller. Neben der echten Eisenbahn-Romantik gehören zu den Weiteren Besonderheiten dieser Eisenbahn u.a. die schmalen Gleise von nur 914 mm Breite, die einem englischen Yard entsprechen, sowie die vielen Bauteile und Details der Lokomotiven und Waggons selbst. Beispielsweise echte Ledersessel in der ersten Klasse. Zudem ist die Strecke wirklich einzigartig, denn die Eisenbahn muß einige Höhenmeter überwinden, durch 13 Tunnel fahren, diverse Brücken und Viadukte überqueren und sich durch unzählige Kurven und Gleisbiegungen winden. Der komplette Film der FÜhrerstandsmitfahrt ist ungeschnitten und ohne störenden Kommentar verfügar. Zu hören ist immer der Originalton mit Geräuschen der Lokomotive, dem Warnsignal, der Hydraulikbremse und vielem mehr. Zu sehen ist die gesamte Strecke von Palma de Mallora über Son Sardina, Apeadero de Son Reus, Apeadero de Santa Maria, Apeadero de Caubert, Bunyola, Mirador Pujol de'n Banya, Viaducte Cinc-Ponts, Túnel Cinc-Cents sowie Apeadero de Can Tambor bis zum Bahnhof nach Sóller. Tren de Soller or Ferrocarril de Soller in a historic electric narrow gauge train which takes a route north from Palma de Mallorca across plains, mountains and 13 tunnels of the Serra de Tramuntana to small village Soller. Return ticket cost 25 Euro (Feb 2018).

The Tranvia de Soller is a Spanish heritage tramway on the Island of Majorca that serves the town of Soller and the coastal village of Port de Soller. It was designed and constructed by the engineer Pedro Garau, and opened on the 4th October 1913.
The line is electrified and 4.868 km long, it has a single track with passing loops and runs on 3ft (914 mm) narrow gauge tracks.The three motor trams, numbered 1 to 3, and their trailers 5 and 6 are the originals, dating from 1912, ordered by Carde & Escoriaza in Zaragoza.
The open 'jardinera' trailers were acquired from Palma trams in1954.The Soller tramway also has five motor trams from Lisbon, Numbered 20 to 24 and re-gauged to fit the 914 mm track gauge.
The track passes through soller town centre, close to the church of San Bartolome. It then proceeds to the village of Horta, then onto Port de Soller along the pedestrianised seafront to the marina.

It is very quiet and also features some wonderful new beaches that were replaced in 2009. We also take a ride of the tram which takes you to the town of Sóller. Unfortunately we weren't able to spend any time in the Sóller town, as we were headed back to Palma in the next train out.

Die Strecke verbindet die mallorquinischen Städte Palma und Sóller. Ihre Spurweite beträgt 914mm (drei englische Fuß). Obwohl beide am Meer liegen, ist dazwischen das Gebirge Sierra de Tramunata zu überwinden. Die Bahn verkehrt heute als Touristikzug mit historischen Fahrzeugen aus der Zeit ihrer Elektrifizierung um 1927. Zusätzlich verbindet eine Straßenbahn den Ort Sóller mit dem Hafen, sie wird ebenfalls mit historischen Fahrzeugen betrieben.
