Two Days In Beautiful Krakow & Changing Plans⎮Poland Trip 2018
Hi beautiful friends! I hope you are well today ♡ I'm so excited to share with you my adventures in amazing Krakow, Poland, for the first time! This was an amazing city with so much to offer, so rich in culture, and so breathtaking in its own way. I arrived in Krakow via the rapid train service from Warsaw Central Station, and got to explore beautiful Old Town, St Mary's Basilica, Wawel Castle, Kazimeirz, and even a short day trip to Wieliczka for a Salt Mine Tour. This mine was definitely something I had never seen before and if you ever visit Krakow, I highly recommend it :) The vegan food was of course abundant as well, which is amazing! These two and a half days seemed to fly by, and it just felt so surreal once again to actually be in this city, another dream that came true. Thank you so much to the kind hearted souls who I also met during this time, I appreciate you wholeheartedly and I am simply filled with pure love. Every day I wake up with so much gratitude for this life, these unforgettable experiences, and I hope this vlog could also inspire you to release your inner child, explore, surrender, and do things that make you feel alive. You are worthy♡ I am sending my love! xxx

We are on another day trip from Krakow, this time to Zakopane at the base of the Tatra Mountains. This town is mainly known for its skiing in the winter, however during the summer there are still loads of outdoor activities.

Day Trip AUSCHWITZ Concentration & Extermination Camps
While in Kraków we decided to head to Oświęcim to see the Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum. As usual, we opted for the DIY tour, caught an early train from Kraków and managed to get in during the free entry hours.
If you want to see this museum with a guide, you’ll have to pay for an educator. You can do this online or once you are there (it’s recommended to book online early to get a slot with someone that speaks you’re preferred language, however we’ve heard that it’s possible to just turn up and book once there). This is the link to book online
If you want to go in for free and without a guide like us, then you will need to visit between 7am and 10am or after 4pm. Between 10am and 4pm they make you pay for a guided tour (these hours may slightly differ depending on the season you visit, so we suggest you check first).
You can either catch a bus from Krakow to Oswiecim or a train, we went for the train because we prefer them over buses, but we’ve heard the bus trip can sometimes be faster.
We would also recommend giving yourself some time to wander around the town of Oswiecim. Its a really lovely little town with lots of places to eat and it can give you some reflection time before getting back on the train or bus.

A Tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland
The town of Wieliczka in southern Poland is home to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a huge network of tunnels, shafts and chambers extending over 300 metres beneath the surface of the Earth. Operating since the 13th century it closed for commercial salt mining in 2007 and is now listed as a historic monument in Poland. On a cold rainy day in 2017 I took the Tourist's Route tour to learn more about the history of the mine and how it operated during its heyday. There are approximately 178 miles of tunnels underground and the tour covered just 2% of them.

In this video, there is a Krakow Poland travel, travel to Krakow Poland and absolutely Krakow travel. You must visit Krakow because Krakow Poland travel is awesome.
1. Wawel Castle
Wawel Castle in Kraków became the royal residence for the Kings of Poland of the times past. Formerly the capital of Poland was Krakow and at the end of the 16th century, King Zygmunt III moved the capital to Warsaw. Admission to Wawel Castle for each room is different, for example, admission to the Royal Chamber of 17 zlotych, for Royal Private Room of 24 zlotych, to the Crown Treasury of 17 zlotych, for exhibition around 8 zlotych, while for Dragon's Den only 3 zlotych.
2. Wieliczka Salt Mine
One of the most popular trips from Krakow were visited the Wieliczka salt mine. Wieliczka is only 30 minutes from Krakow, and the city is famous for its salt mine and museum. Wieliczka is also one of the very first sites entered in the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO. The most amazing is the entire content of the mine i.e. carvings to statues were all made of salt.
3. Cloth Hall
Cloth Hall Sukiennice or located in the midst of the market square, this is a traders market in Poland since the 14th century. Cloth Hall is also called as the first shopping mall in the world. Until now the Sukiennice still have shops that sell amber, Woodcraft, textiles to various souvenirs typical of Poland. Although it is in the area of tourist, for the price is not too expensive.
4. Auschwitz
This vast Auschwitz camp consists of 2 areas: the Auschwitz former concentration camp and is now a Museum and the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp is an extension of and functioned as extermination and labor camps. Here it is recommended to travel to Join such a tour package from Cracow City Tours. To tour Auschwitz with United Kingdom language guide is available daily, departs from Matejki Square in Krakow Old Town. It costs about 90 zlotych with tour duration 4 hours
5. Vistula River
The Vistula River is the longest and most important rivers in Poland with a length of 1,047 km. Has also played an important part in the cultural life of Poland. In Kraków, the River was circling the ancient old town and on both banks of the river, the locals enjoy jogging, cycling, and picnics in the summer. You can catch a boat that is superbly prepared for touring the river around Krakow.

Visiting the Salt Mines and Having Pierogies! // Krakow Poland Travel Vlog
Sorry for the questionable quality when we were in the dark! Phones aren't very good at shooting video at night! Anyway, in this video my friends and I go to Wieliczka Salt Mine, find some pierogis, and have a good time at the Pinball Museum!
Wieliczka is about a 30min bus ride from the central station but we were delayed by traffic and ended up being late for our tour! Luckily they were nice enough to throw us in there so we wouldn't have to wait a couple hours for the next English one!
The pierogi restaurant we went to is Kuchnia u Babci Maliny, and is a bit hidden but has ridiculously delicious pierogis!
