Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey Sligo's Parting Glass
'Sligo's Parting Glass' has been produced in response to the recent 'Tullamore Dew advert', though the story behind this video is also pretty unique
Sligo, on the northwest coast of Ireland, is renowned for its thriving music and cultural scene and so four of Sligo's leading music pubs, renowned in their own right for sessions and live music, came together along with Sligo's leading young film makers and creatives, patrons and supporters, to produce this short film over the last two weeks.
Sligo is set to play host to the All-Ireland Fleadh in 2014, and so we hope this film showcases Sligo's eclectic music scene alongside landscapes that surround and inspire those of us that live and work as well as showing off what visitors to the area next year can expect to see.

I am enjoying very nice weather after long time. Today I'm traveling to Tullamore Town to find where and how do they do the legendary irish whiskey. The visitor centre is very nice experience let's go through the town, centre and castle with me and enjoy the video!

The DEWlep is our shake-up on a classic, the darling of the Kentucky Derby, the Mint Julep. Kentucky and Ireland have a great deal in common. They both produce fine fiddlers, fine horses and fine whiskey. While musicians trade tunes and breeders trade horses, we whiskey aficionados trade recipes -- like this Irish twist on a Southern classic.
Tullamore D.E.W - The Montserrat
Though not alike in climate, Ireland and Montserrat share a little more than ancestry. During the 18th century, slaves were sent from Ireland to Montserrat. On March 17th, 1768, these Irish-African slaves stood together in an uprising against their colonial masters. The revolt failed, but since that day, St Patrick's day has been a public holiday on the island. The Montserrat is our nod to these Irish cousins overseas.
