Island Hopping in Sabah, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park MALAYSIA
We headed out to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, only 20min boat ride from Sabah's capital Kota Kinabalu.
There we headed to various islands for a day of adventure. We experienced the Coral Flyer, a zip line that goes from Gaya Island to Sapi Island, and also tries some snorkelling.
We travelled to Sabah as guests of Sabah Tourism Board.

We flew from Singapore to KK, stayed in a good value Backpackers hostel (Kinabalu Backpackers), spent the 1st day scuba diving around Pulau Sapi Beach, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, went to the Philipinian Night Market BBQ (strongly recommended - yummy!). The 2nd day, we went to Gaya Island and went Jungle Trekking (without a guide). If you want a perfect and low budget weekend away from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, you will find it here in Borneo!

We went island hopping in Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) which is a Malaysian state situated on the coast of Borneo. These islands are collectively known as the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine parks and consist of 5 islands : Gaya, Manukan, Sapi, Mamutik and Sulug.
