This Intamin hydraulic launch coaster opened during the company's accelerator coaster boom in 2006 and launches from 0-56 mph in just over 2 seconds. Did you know that it was the first coaster to feature a Norwegian Loop, which is how the name came about?

Summer holidays in Tusenfryd 2019. Tusenfryd is an amusement park at Vinterbro in Ås. The park is located about 20 kilometers south of Oslo city center, on the western side of the E6 and E18. Tusenfryd was officially opened on June 11, 1988 after a construction period of 18 months and has since then grown to become one of Norway's largest amusement parks with its 34 attractions and just under 500,000 visitors a year.

El parque está ubicado a unos 20 kilómetros al sur del centro de la ciudad de Oslo, en el lado oeste de la E6 y la E18. Tusenfryd se inauguró oficialmente el 11 de junio de 1988 después de un período de construcción de 18 meses, y desde entonces ha crecido hasta convertirse en uno de los parques de atracciones más grandes de Noruega con sus 34 atracciones y poco menos de 500,000 visitantes al año.
Speed Monster off-ride HD TusenFryd
This Intamin hydraulic launch accelerator coaster was the first coaster to feature a Norwegian Loop, which is also very similar to the Pretzel Loop used on flying coasters. The difference is the Norwegian Loop has a half inline twist at the start and another at the end, so it makes two inversions while the Pretzel Loop only has one.
