This beautiful little building designed by Sir John Soane in 1811 can lay claim to being the first purpose-built gallery in the UK. It's origins are fascinating: founded by two art dealers active in Georgian London, it is the final resting place of a collection originally intended to provide Poland with a National Gallery equivalent. Travel with my sister to UK, May 2017.
Today morning, we go to St. Pauls Cathedral, after that we take a bus to Twining Tea shop and then go to Westminster Abbey. After that we go to Notting Hill and Portobello Market and before we head to the next place, we stop at King Cross station and go to Platform 9 3/4.
Then we go to Covent Garden, walk around for an hour and walk to Leicester Square. We go China Town which very close to Leicester Square to find something to eat.
The last place for today is British Museum.

Unusual and Uncommon Things to Do in London - London Tour
Visiting London is about checking the most historical and visited places in the city, but sometimes getting to do something a little bit different and do some uncommon things will help in making the trip much more interesting and fun. We have some recommendations for unusual places and things to visit in London and get the fun started.
While we were on a trip to London, we went to some unusual places which might not come among the usual recommendations, these include the BFI Shop. The British Film Institute (BFI) is well known in London, UK, and it is a film and charitable organization which promotes and preserves film making and television in the United Kingdom. The shop related to this place is considered a different kind of experience because of the books, the souvenirs and all the other items that will be found there - so you could always add it to your list (
Going further and considering other destinations to visit and do some unusual things in London, playing and having some fun gaming time in Namco Fun Scape is also another option to consider. There are different games and options to choose from when it comes to Namco Fun Scape; there are escape rooms, bowling, ping pong and lots of other options that would bring the challenging part within you.
Some of those who are crazy about specific things in life might know everything that might be related to it, such as those who are crazy in love with M&M's and who already know that they are going to see some M&M's which they might never thought existed, and that of course comes in addition to the other products found there, such as the clothes, the toys, and much more. This is another uncommon thing to do in London that is not about the history of the place (
Some of those unusual and uncommon things to do in London which we would recommend might still have a history behind it, such as visiting and checking Hay's Galleria. Hay's Galleria is a mixed use building in the London Borough of Southwark, situated on the Southbank of the River Thames, featuring offices, shops, restaurants and flats. Hay's Galleria was a warehouse back in time when it first appeared, but it then went through some developments until it reached what it is today (
Did you know about Great Scotland Yard? This might not be a museum to visit in the city of London, but it is still considered an old place given that name and attracts lots of people to know the reason behind being given such a name. Great Scotland Yard is a street in the St. James's district of Westminster. The name came from the buildings that accommodated the diplomatic representatives of the Kingdom of Scotland and the Scottish Kings when they visited the English royalty (
Lets get the fun things started? Are you a tea lover? The English people are and Twinings is one of the most famous tea brands all over the world and it happens to be English. One of the interesting and unusual things to do in London is to visit Twinings and get some sampling there and get some flavors back home with you.
Some of the recommendations we might give could be already known but we still want to stress on the fact that they are really interesting places to visit and go to during your stay. One of the other places we would love to recommend is Sky Garden with the spectacular views that it offers over the city of London. Even though the entrance to this high public garden is for free, you should still book beforehand to make sure that your place is there, they only accept a specific number every single day (
Enjoy a tasty snack at the Cereal Killer Cafe and choose from all the different choices which they are offering. This is a very good place for families because kids usually love cereals and they will enjoy the fact of choosing several things from lots of choices they have. The decoration of the place is also interesting because it gives you the feeling of being in an old-style place with viewing all the different cereal options which they have there (
