Ubud | Bali Vlog || We Hired THE BEST Driver
Come with us on our day trip in Bali! When staying in Bali in January this year, we decided to hire a driver for the day to take us to Ubud and see some of the local sights. We found Nyoman Wage through tripadvisor and spent an extremely awesome day getting to know a little bit more of Bali. Nyoman spoke great English, was kind and courteous, trustworthy and funny. He even taught us some Balinese! In this video you can see some of the places we stopped, including: Batuan Temple, A Barong & Keris dance, Tohpati Village, Lumbung House of Coffee, Ubud Monkey Forest and much more!

Traveling in Bali - AMAZING FOOD and Attractions in UBUD, Bali, Indonesia!
►Bali Food Tour:
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts:
Ubud is known to be one of the cultural centers of Bali island in Indonesia, and you’ll also find an abundance of delicious Balinese food to eat.
From Ubud, we first got in a taxi for a full day - 500,000 IDR ($36.76)
Lawar Sapi Men Daging Sangeh - This was a random restaurant I found on Google maps and it looked like my kind of place, and so we went to check it out. They serve beef lawar, a Balinese food mix of beef and spices. It was delicious, and made the perfect breakfast.
Price - 20,000 IDR ($1.48) per plate
Sangeh Monkey Forest
Entrance - 35,000 IDR ($2.58)
Warung Sate Babi Nyoman Bledor - Bali is known for Indonesian pork sate, and this spot is legendary. The pork sate is a little sweet, but delicious, it’s worth the effort to eat here.
Total price - 84,000 IDR ($6.20), 5 plates
Goa Gajah - Elephant Cave - The Elephant Cave is one of the most well known Bali attractions, and well worth a visit when you’re in Bali.
Entrance - 15,000 IDR ($1.11)
Warung Makan Teges - This local Indonesian restaurant serves nasi campur, a mix of different dishes all over rice. The food is very tasty and to me it tasted good quality.
Price - 30,000 IDR ($2.21) per plate
Nasi Ayam Kadewatan Bu Mangku - Finally to finish off this Balinese Indonesian food tour, we at Bali chicken rice mix, includes all sorts of delicious goodies over rice.
Price - 25,000 IDR ($1.84) per plate
Thank you for watching this Indonesian food video!

Luxury Villa Tour in Ubud Bali - Private Infinity Pool | Ep 3
Hey guys, on this episode we start off learning all about Balinese culture through food! Our first destination is the fresh produce markets and then we are off to do a cooking class Bali style, at Ketut's Bali Cooking Class.
We recommend you book directly through Ketut's website to save a bit of money. Our awesome driver Ari from gave us this great tip. If you do cooking classes through your hotels, the cost is often double the price.
The cooking class for us was therefore $35 NZD or 35000 IDR each. It included everything from the morning market tour, food, pick up and drop off and of course the cooking lesson itself.
With an awesome morning behind us we headed over to our luxury villa destination! The beautiful Komaneka at Bisma. Komaneka resorts have three destinations in Bali, however the Bisma location has the nicest pools and is a short drive away from the Ubud city centre. This was certainly the biggest luxury villa for two that Yen and I have ever stayed at and the private infinity pool was massive. It overlooks the beautiful Ubud rainforest. We had a really great relaxing stay here and spent lots of time making use of the huge pool with the weather being so humid.
Details about this resort and all the accommodations we stayed at while in Bali can be found through Yen's informative blog post:

RISKING AN UBER - SEMINYAK TO UBUD | Indonesia Travel Vlog 131, 2018 | Bali Taxi
Uber in Bali is sort of frowned upon, but Seminyak to Ubud was definitely cheaper than a taxi and worth the risk! ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
Going from Seminyak to Ubud got interesting... Taxis have a bit of a strong hold on the Bali market, (possibly all of Indonesia), theres areas that Uber aren't welcome, other than drop offs, and a lot of Seminyak falls into that area. We're not 100% sure if our location in Seminyak was one of those areas, but we eventually managed to get an Uber and make our way to Ubud.
Ubud is an awesome spot, we have a lot of vlog to come from here soon, its got a very different feel to Seminyak and shows another side of Bali as a whole.
Just keep in mind with Taxis in Bali to stick with Bluebird Group Taxis only, theyre legit and run strictly off the meter so you won't get ripped off.

We were heading to our next destination to UBUD from Seminyak and did a day tour on the way which ended up being great. It was something we didn't plan until we got there. Our driver Komang also had recommendations for other places for us to explore e.g. the temples and the traditional textile making which were great. If you are ever in need of a driver, please let us know and we'll recommend the one we used for our stay in Bali.

Things to do in Bali, Indonesia| Family friendly activities| #bali #ubud #familytravel #pinayvlogger
** Hello hello! ** Welcome back! Thank you for tuning in to our channel!! =)
This video is Odin at 16 months in Bali Indonesia! Visited Bali for the very first time for our 2 year wedding anniversary and we're so glad we chose this country to celebrate it! We love every single villa stay we had and our excursions. Plus shout out to our driver Puto for keeping up with us with our hiking and meeting our needs including our chicken satay cravings and JFC cravings and stopping by to look for a laundry place! Our driver went above and beyond with what we hired him to do. (Visiting Bali? let me know and I can give you his contact info he really is the best. He is private own so, all the income goes to him plus, he won't rip you off. He gives reasonable price!)
ok back to Bali (lol). We basically did villa hopping and 5 days of tour.
::Family Friendly activities::
*Luwak Coffee Plantation - The teas are good. Free samples. But I recommend not to buy the box of teas. Why? because when you make them at home, they have residuals and very grainy unlike what they have as samples.
*Tirta Empul - must wear sarung and have to put your hair up. They will provide the sarung for you and just give donation.
*Lempuyang Temple: Again must wear sarung since it is a temple. (Go here early to beat the crowd). The pictures taken here are seriously mind boggling. Checkout our IG: love.rej or thereyesproject for the lempuyang photos.
*Tirta Ganga- (Not featured in this video) This is a garden and very beautiful. There is a fee to get inside I believe $10 per person.
*Monkey Forrest - Be mindful of your belongings. These monkeys are VERY AGGRESSIVE! There is a fee as well but I seriously don't remember how much (sorry). Look for an elderly man who lets you take photos with the monkeys. We did one with Odin, and it was a flap, one of the monkeys almost stepped on Odin's face worst comes to worst, one of them also PEED on me =(
*Nungnung Falls & Tegenungan Falls: these require hiking. We had odin in ergo baby so we we were able to hike the steep stairs. Very worth it at the end though. There is also an entrance fee about $5 per person per falls.
*Bali swing - $55 entrance fee or $90 entrance fee with unlimited photos in all swings. Entrance comes with buffet food. It is fun riding the swings though. They even have a family swing!
*Tegalalang rice terraces - (not in the video, bummer) there is an easy hike to get here as well. But the view of the field is beautiful! **Pic available in our IG account*
*Tukad Cepung - If you want that picturesque sun ray IG worthy photo. Then this is a must!
(not in video as well another bummer) **Pic available in our IG account*
There you have it. Our Anniversary spent in Indonesia. Odin sure did have fun. Hoping we'll be back here again when he's a little older. To recreate memories, by that time he'd be old enough to remember.
