????????????Walking around Kaminarimon (雷門), Senso-ji (an ancient Buddhist temple) (浅草寺), Asakusa (浅草), Taito City (台東区), Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本) at night. I got off Subway Ginza Line from Asakusa station and was walking around Kaminarimon (雷門) which correct name is “Furaijinmon” (風雷神門). And then I was passing through those traditional shopping area (Nakamisedoori (仲見世通り) toward to Senso-ji (浅草寺). After that, I was walking and passing through Hozomon (宝蔵門) and Hondo (本堂) Main Hall (Japanese Buddhism) of Senso-ji (浅草寺). And then I came back to Kaminarimon (雷門). It was about 25 minutes of walking, but it was absolutely worth for it. It’s in Japan took by Apple iPhone XS Max 【4K video Dual OIS Dual 12MP rear cameras】

JAPAN TRIP - Asakusa, Tokyo 【HD】
Asakusa is a district in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan, most famous for the Sensō-ji, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon. There are several more temples in Asakusa, as well as various festivals.
Asakusa is the terminus of the Metro Ginza line (G19), which is the best way to get into the area, perhaps by connecting from the Yamanote line at Ueno. Other options are to take the eponymous Toei Asakusa line(A18), which carves a path through eastern and southern Tokyo, or by taking the Toei Oedo Line to the Kuramae Station(E11), or by using the Tobu-Isesaki Line.
Cab Station Ltd's Super Shuttle bus service runs four daily round-trips between Narita Airport and Asakusa for ¥1000. Buses pick up/discharge near the Toei Asakusa subway and the Tsukuba Express line.
Cruises down the Sumidagawa river depart from a wharf only 5-minute walk from the temple, by the Azuma-bashi bridge. There are a number of boat routes available, so have a look at the map and then decide which one to pick.

JAPANTRIPGUIDE「Sensoji (Asakusa Kannon Temple) 浅草寺」Taito-ku, Tokyo 2015.4.8
Sensoji (浅草寺, Sensōji, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is one of Tokyo's most colorful and popular temples.
The legend says that in the year 628, two brothers fished a statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them. Consequently, Sensoji was built nearby for the goddess of Kannon. The temple was completed in 645, making it Tokyo's oldest temple.

Ueno, Japan, A walking tour. (HD)
Ueno (上野 upper wild field) is a district in Tokyo's Taitō Ward, best known as the home of Ueno Park. Ueno is also home to some of Tokyo's finest cultural sites, including the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum of Western Art, and the National Museum of Nature and Science, as well as a major public concert hall. Many Buddhist temples are in the area, including the Bentendo temple dedicated to goddess Benzaiten, on an island in Shinobazu Pond. The Kan'ei-ji, a major temple of the Tokugawa shōguns, stood in this area, and its pagoda is now within the grounds of the Ueno Zoo. Nearby is the Ueno Tōshō-gū, a Shinto shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Near the Tokyo National Museum there is The International Library of Children's Literature. Just south of the station is the Ameya-yokochō, a street market district that evolved out of an open-air black market that sprung up after World War II. (Wikipedia)

JAPANTRIPGUIDE「Tokyo National Museum 東京国立博物館」Taito-ku, Tokyo 2015.5.22
The Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館 Tōkyō Kokuritsu Hakubutsukan), or TNM, established in 1872, is the oldest Japanese national museum, and the largest art museum in Japan. The museum collects, houses, and preserves a comprehensive collection of art works and archaeological objects of Asia, focusing on Japan. The museum also conducts research and organizes educational events related to its collection.
Gojoten Shrine & Hanazono Inari Shrine in UENO PARK
Gojoten Jinja (五条天神社) and Hanazono Inari Jinja (花園稲荷神社) in Ueno Park are
two Shinto shrines which share the precincts.
Hanazono Inari Shrine was located here from long ago (but unknown exactly from
when), and after Kan'eiji was established here, it became the guardian of the temple.
Gojoten Shrine was, according to legend, founded about 1900 years ago in present day
Ueno Park but was relocated afterwards to other places, and it came back to the park
in 1928. The buildings of both shrines were constructed in that year.
On February 3, many Shinto shrines and major Buddhist temples hold bean throwing
ceremony. This shrine is no exception, but conducts a little drama called Ukera‑no‑
shinji before the been throwing.

A TOKYO MINUTE - UENO AMEYOKOCHO MARKET
A TOKYO MINUTE - UENO AMEYOKOCHO MARKET
Ameya-Yokochō (アメヤ横丁 Ameya alley) is an open-air market in the Taito Ward of Tokyo, Japan, located next to Ueno Station.
The market is approximately 164,227 square feet in area, starting just behind the Yodobashi Camera building and following the Yamanote Line south until the Komuro building.
There are two theories on the etymology of Ameya. The first is that the name came from ameya (飴屋 candy shop), because of all the candy stores that lined the street in the early post-war era when sugar was hard to come by. Even now, there are stores selling candy there. The second theory is that it refers to アメリカ (America); there used to be stores selling surplus American army goods just after World War II. In either case, it is now commonly referred to simply as ameyoko (アメ横).
The market is home to over one hundred and eighty one shops,[2] which sell products ranging from fresh food and fish to clothing and time pieces.

Guys, I've decided that I'm going to take a more direct and honest approach with you, my viewers. And part of that real talk has to do with something most Youtubers are not that willing to talk about - money.
The thing with Youtube ad-revenue is that it's a complete joke, and the only way smaller channels can earn an income worth the time spent making videos is with lots of low quality content, or sponsored content. I dont wanna play that game. I want to make the best videos possible for you, my viewers, but making good videos takes a ton of time, effort and money.
Thus, I started Patreon to help with the costs of producing these videos. There's a few of costs like: travelling around Tokyo, entrance fees and the cost of my time (hundreds of hours scripting, shooting, editing).
A lot of my fellow YouTuber friends are using Patreon so that their audience can support them directly. I would LOVE to make working on this channel my full-time job, so If you feel that my content is worth it then please have a look at my Patreon page and help me grow Tokyo Drew.
