JR Iseshi station (伊勢市駅） is located in Mie Prefecture, about two hours train ride from JR Nagoya Station (名古屋駅）.
JR Iseshi station is the gateway for the Ise-Shima National Park. The park has extensive views of Ise bay and also has Ise Jingu Shrine. Ise Jingu shrine is one of the most important shrines of Japan.
Even though Iseshi station is small, it hosts millions of visitors every year, both visiting the Ise-Shima national park and the Ise Jingu Shrine.

travel experience where the ride itself is part of the fun.
If you wish to experience riding a luxury train in Japan, the Kintetsu Shimakaze Premium Express runs once daily from both Nagoya Kintetsu Station and Osaka Namba Station.
Shimakaze Premium Express Luxury Train at Nagoya Station
The Shimakaze calls at Ise, Uji Yamada, Toba and Ugata from both Nagoya and Osaka. From Nagoya the Shimakaze also stops at Yokkaichi in Mie.
From Namba there are stops at Uehommachi, Tsuruhashi and Yamatoyagi. Foreign visitors can use their Kintetsu Rail Pass or Kintetsu Rail Pass Wide on the train. Check with your travel agent where you bought your ticket or your local JTB office.

What is Ise Sea Paradise
Ise Sea Paradise is an aquarium located in Futami town, Ise city, in Mie Prefecture. As soon as you walk in, miniature “Meotoiwa”, the symbol of Futami, can be seen in a tank. Proceed forward to enter the dome shaped exhibition decorated with lush plants. It seems to reproduce the natural environment.
The concept of the aquarium is to come in contact with sea creatures and at the “Kaijyu Hiroba” Square, there are events where visitors can actually touch spotted seals and walrus. These events are held every day, but please remember they may be sometimes cancelled due to the physical condition of the creatures or the weather.
There are other exhibitions that allow visitors to come in contact with sea creatures such as the sea lion show, or the “Doctor Fish” footbath area, and is this destination is worth the stop.
Hours of operation
Ise Sea Paradise is open year-round and is open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM daily. According to the season, the hours of operation may change so be sure to check the website before going.
Rates
1400 yen for seniors over 65 years old, 1600 yen per adult, 800 yen for elementary school and middle school students, 400 yen for children over 2 years old but under elementary school age. There are discounts for groups.
Access
Located at the nearest bus stop “Meotoiwa East Exit Ise Sea Paradise-mae”. Busses operate from Iseshi Station and Ujiyamada Station. If arriving by train, it is a 20 minute walk from the Futamiura Station. From Futamiura Station, follow the coastal inn street toward Meotoiwa and it is straight past Meotoiwa.

近鉄大阪線 名張駅の自動放送を集めました。
大みそかの終夜運転に収録しましたので、連結や切り離し等の案内は一切入っておりませんが、普段は聞くことができない放送が多数収録されております。
見どころとしては、まず06:12からの併結特急です。
かつては定期ダイヤで存在しましたが、いまや大晦日の臨時運転に姿を残すのみ。録音できる機会も大変少ないため、今回の動画の目玉となっております。
２０１８年１月は併結特急が２本運転されましたが、この動画では２本とも収録しています。片方の放送には設定ミスがありますので、注意して聞いてみてください。
続いて09:52からの名古屋行き急行。
こちらの電車は６時台に１本しか設定されておらず、非常に珍しい設定といえるでしょう。
停車駅案内は名古屋まで流れます。もとむらみちこ氏の声で名古屋線急行停車駅の放送を聞くことができる唯一の設定となっています。鳥羽方面へは伊勢中川で乗り換える旨も放送されます。
また05:00からの桜井停車の特急も欠かせません。
特急の桜井停車は終夜運転時のみで、JR線で１つ隣、三輪駅が最寄りの大神神社への参拝客輸送が目的とされています。今回はこちらも余すことなく収録いたしました。

Nabari is one of stations on the Osaka Line. Lots of services from Osaka terminates and turn back here, as stations from here towards Ise-Shima have few passengers.

Vintage Station in Isobe
Found this vintage station in Isobe (Shima-Isobe St) in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, Japan, after my wonderful 'arubaito' (part time job) in Yokoyama Observation Center. It's really rare to found this kind of 'true' vintage station in Japan. I mean, although Tokyo Station or even Ujiyamada Station look so vintage from outside, but the interior are modern. This Isobe station just like 'naturally' vintage in my eyes ^_^ I googled about it and wiki said that this station opened on 1929! Whooaaa!

Introducing Ise-shi Station 伊勢市駅のご紹介
I introduce Ise-shi station and places surrounding it. Ise station is one of 2 main train stations, the other being Ujiyamada station. Ise station is about 5-10 minute walking distance to the Outer Shrine and there are buses that will take you to the Inner Shrine and other areas.
There are also a lot of places to eat if you are hungry and I introduce you to one particular place that I really like and highly recommend, Soba Baru, a buckwheat noodle restaurant. There are other great places to eat and enjoy the old and the new buildings side by side. Be sure to have 2 of the most famous local specialty, Ise Udon and Akafuku Mochi, which literally represents as the top local items that is associated with Ise.

An Introduction to Yamatohime and Yamatohime Shrine 倭姫宮の紹介

There is an auxiliary shrine in the Ise Jingū shrine complex dedicated to Yamato-hime. Along with many other structures in the Jingū complex, it is completely rebuilt every twenty years as part of the shikinen sengū, or regular moving of the kami to a new residence.
In the early eighth century, the Chronicles of Japan was written to tell the history of Japan up until that time. In one part, it explained how one of Japan’s most revered deities, Amaterasu, came to be enshrined in the Ise Jingū shrine complex.
Amaterasu was originally located in the imperial palace together with another deity called Yamato-no-Ōkunitama. However, during the 10th emperor’s reign, he became concerned about their power and felt uncomfortable living together with them. He had them removed from the palace and enshrined elsewhere.
Amaterasu was contained in a sacred mirror that was first given to an imperial princess named Toyosuki-iri-hime, who enshrined the deity in the village of Kasanui. During the reign of the next emperor, an imperial princess named Yamato-hime was told to find a permanent place to enshrine Amaterasu. Yamato-hime took the deity with her as she traveled around Japan looking for a suitable place.
Eventually, Yamato-hime arrived in Ise. At that time, Amaterasu spoke to her, saying The province of Ise, of the kamikaze, or divine wind, is the land whither repair the waves from the eternal world, the successive waves. It is a secluded and pleasant land. In this land I wish to dwell.”
If you are visiting Ise, Yamato-hime Shrine is just a short, 20-minute walk from the station at Ujiyamada to this shrine. This is a shrine that many modern-day pilgrims pass by on their way from the Outer to the Inner Shrine, but it is worth taking a few minutes to enjoy the site.
While you are there, you may want to also visit The Museum of Shinto and Japanese Culture across the street at Kōgakkan University or the nearby Jingū Chōkokan Museum, Jingū Museum of Fine Arts, and Jingū Agricultural Museum.
