The Best Park In Manilla - Exploring Rizal Park, Philippines
Today we will be exploring manila and looking for the best park in the area, after doing research we decided to go to rizal park in metro manila.
The first time we came to manila we didnt research were to stay which ruined our time in manila. This time we researched were was best to stay and we loved it, a massive difference compared to last time. We highly recommend staying in makati in metro manila.
We got a uber to rizal park not knowing what else may be here except a big grass field and a statue. We was really surprised to find lots of little gardens within rizal park. We went to 2 gardens which were a chinese garden and a japanese garden. These gardens were really nice and quiet. The chinese garden was very impressive.
We then also see a statue of jose rizal who we didnt no anything about so we decided to find out who he was and include that into the video.
Exploring this area of manila was really enjoyable, it was very family orientated with food stalls people having picnicks with familys people just sleeping and enjoying themselfs. It was the perfect place to come for a relaxing day.
There is also some nice big statues here with plaques telling you who they was.
Overall it was a really good day and a good location to spend some time exploring manila, you can spend a whole day at rizal park without spending so much while chilling out on the grass or in the gardens

Arriving in Pundaquit, Zambales - Philippines
Today we decided not to stay in subic and head to pundaquit which is a little town on the coast of zambales province in luzon philippines.
We was thinking of stopping and staying in subic as we had never heard of it before and looked like it would be a good spot to base. After looking at things to do in subic we decided against staying here and kept to the original plan and went to pundaquit.
pundaquit is around 30km away from subic and around 100-150 km from manila.
There are a lot of accomodation in pundaquit and plenty of them are not on agoda or anything like that. As we arrived the weather was not so great today we opted to have a little look at the beach and make use of our resistance bands and do a little exercise ready to visit the beach the next day when its hot. It never stays cool for long in the philippines.
PHILIPPINES - Climbing Mount Pinatubo & Meeting the AETA Tribe
Today is a very special vlog, today we climbed the amazing mount pinatubo and finally met the aeta tribe of Filipino.
We started the day buy driving in the 4x4 from our accommodation (alvin & angies guest house) to mount pinatubo jump off point the drive was amazing! its very bumpy but you drive through rivers and up sand banks, its a real off road experience.
We then stopped at a location for pictures and a quick 5 minute stop, there is are a few cliffs here that make for a good photo opportunity.
We then continued our drive to the jump off point of the trek, you have 2 options for either walking 3km or 7km. We opted for the 7km walk to get extra time to take photos and video ect. The walk is pretty easy and accessible for everybody.
As you see from the drone mount pintatubo is a very special place and insanely stunning with huge cliffs of sharp rocks with strong colors. Flying the drone over mount pinatubo really did give us the wow factor and appreciation for the mountain when we watched it back.
After making our way back down the mountain we asked if we could visit the aeta tribes village. Aeta people are the original Filipinos from hundreds or thousands of years ago who keep themselves away from the rest of the Philippines and stay in the mountains usually. I was most likely the first black westerner that most of them have ever seen so it was a really crazy experience and one that we will remember for ever. We played with the aeta kids and caught some really funny moments.
By the end of the day we was so tired but loved the day and how it unfolded and really pleased we could share it with you.
mt pinatubo is a fairly easy walk and pretty flat considering, on your mt pinatubo tour make sure you visit the aeta village it happend to be the highlight of the day and we really did not expect it at all.
PHILIPPINES - Hundred Islands, The Brazil Of The Philippines
Today we visit the philippines famous hundred islands which we have also called the brazil of the philippines because of the big statue of jesus standing at the tallest point in the area on pilgrim or pilgrimage island.
The jump off point into hundred islands is from bolo beach in alaminos. The boat trip cost 1600 pesos for the boat including environment good for 4-5 people.
There are so many activities you can do in hundred islands, we recommend you bring money with you for things like helmet diving and ziplining and any food and drinks you may want to purchase. There are so many islands to choose from that it may well be possible to tell your boatman what islands you want to visit. We did not look into doing that but im sure it can be done.
The most popular island seemed to be pilgrim island / pilgrimage island, atleast it was the most popular in our mind because of the famous jesus statue. On pilgrim island you can do the walk of the last supper which walks you through around 1300 steps and tells you the story of jesus finals days which was AMAZING. The art work is beautiful and very well made with detail.
Pilgrim island / pilgrimage island is the island you will want to visit for holy week to say your prayers and pay respects.
The last island we visited was shell island which had a tiny little shallow pool to swim in that was so warm like bath water and empty. Shell island is were you want to be if your after uncrowded water and clean sand which is what the philippines is known for.
Shell island and pilgrim island are not to be missed if you plan on coming to hundred islands
We had a amazing day at hundred islands but just wish we new about all the activities available so we could of done some helmet diving but now we can tell you all to bring money and not to make our mistake.
Busuanga Island and Coron Town - Palawan Philippines | JOEJOURNEYS
Coron also refers to Coron town on neighbouring Busuanga Island where the airport and most accommodation is located, as well as daytime boat trips that are the only way to visit the tribe-protected Coron island itself.
Coron is best known for world-class WWII-era wreck diving, though the area also offers limestone karst landscapes, crystal-clear freshwater lakes and shallow-water coral reefs, and even hot springs.
A few things to do in Coron Town and around:
-Mt. Tapyas is the second tallest mountain and one of the most dominant land features around the town of Coron in Busuanga Island, Palawan. Towering over the town at 210 meters clearly marked by the white cross and the Coron Hollywood style signage, its trail is easily accessible on foot.
-Maquinit Hot Spring is perfect of an end of day activities where you just want to soak in the thermal spring.
-Coron Public Market located on the harbour facing the island of Coron, a market of local items from fish, poultry, meat, fruit and vegetable.
Almost all beaches and attractions are located on nearby small islands, which are only accessible via boat tour, daily boat charter or by staying in one of the higher-end resorts that are the only accommodation option on most populated islands.
Many visitors travel to/from El Nido region by boat and options of more island hopping with overnight stays on islands along the way.

How To Travel Around The Philippines - Exploring Kawasan Waterfall, Cebu | Vlog 42
How to travel around the philippines - Today we will travelling around cebu island, Exploring kawasan waterfall, mainit spring and then onto tumalog falls. The best way to travel around the philippines is by motorbike.
How to get to Kawasan falls is easy, rent a scooter and drive there yourself. its cheaper to rent a bike and do it this way then getting a tricycle or taxi + its a amazing rive along the coast so you may want to stop for photos. Travelling cebu was amazing, take it all in and drive yourself to fully appreciate it.
Once at Kawasan waterfalls you will be charged entrance fee which SHOULD NOT be any more than 40 pesos per person. People do get ripped off here and end up paying a thousand so be aware.
Get to Kawasan falls as early as possible as it does get really busy and you wont be able to take that perfect photo, we recommend arriving at 8am or earlier.
Above Kawasan waterfall there are more pools which people go kanyoneering in. We didn't no about this when we was there so we didn't go up and explore it unfortunately but we will be back again.
overall Kawasan falls didn't disappoint, it was epic as we thought it would be. The water is as blue as in every picture you see to.
Kawasan falls to mainit springs was also a lovely drive, around 20km of perfect views along the coast, it was amazing.
To get into mainit spring we payed 10 pesos bike parking then 20 pesos per person to enter. You have around 4 or 5 pools to get in that are all different temperatures ranging from around 30 degrees up to 40 degrees.
Tumalog Falls is so far away from moalboal. If your thinking of driving this like we did then your basically driving to oslob, as tumalog falls is in oslob. We didnt no this at the time but its around 2 hours 30 minutes away. When you get around 10km away from tumalog you are due to drive into country side and hills, MAKE SURE you have a full tank of petrol or you may have petrol problems like us.
How to travel around the philippines? easily answered, ferry's buses and motorbikes and enjoy the spectacular views, it was breath taking. Kawasan waterfall was spectacular along with the drone shots of tumalog falls. We just wished we had made it to tumalog to actually see it close up. mainit spring was also a nice visit along the way. Definitely recommend this road trip its a full action packed day and 1 we are so glad that we did.
Any questions on how to travel the philippines drop us a comment below and we will get back to you.
NUEVA ECIJA - The Rice Bowl Of The Philippines, Luzon
Today we left santa juliana and headed to nueva ecija around the center of central luzon in the philippines known as the rice bowl of the philippines.
The drive from santa juliana took around 2-3 hours which was not bad at all. We are coming to nueva ecija specifically to visit minalungao national park which looks like a true unheard of paradise of the philippines.
Nueva ecija is known for its huge rice growing contributions and is also known as the rice bowl of the philippines. There are tens of miles of rice fields with a bright green color all over this part of luzon.
Nueva ecija is a really chilled out relaxed town with a slow pace of life which we really enjoyed and was a fitting time to come here for our last week in luzon
We know minalungao national park is going to be a special place and look forward to finally visiting this towns biggest treasure with pristine waters and we cannot wait to show you

Pundaquit Beach - Zambales Philippines
Today is our 1st full hot sunny beach day in pundaquit zambales, once again the Philippines does not disappoint.
pundaquit is a tiny town in the province of zambales in central luzon. Pundaquit seems like its a up and coming area with a few resorts now being built. The area is charming and feels like a really nice small community here with the locals and few tourists mixing, you get a sense of relaxation and calmness and chilled vibes.
Pundaquit beach is beautiful with a insane backdrop of the mountains which make for great photos. The sand is really nice with a hint of grey in from when the mountain erupted in 1991. The beach is very very clean to, its literally picture perfect as many beaches are in the Philippines.
The ocean is a little more blue here than the crystal clear water we have come to expect but its ok, a short boat ride to anawangan nagsasa or silanguin cove will give you the crystal clear water you will be hoping for.
Zambales so far has set a high bar for what to expect from this province and we are looking forward to finding more of what zambales has to offer.

Travelling To Bislig Surigao Del Sur - Being Celebrities In Philippines
today we are travelling to bislig from surigao city. As we passed through butuan we took a lot of photos with the locals, it felt strange being celebrities in the Philippines for a day. In total it was around 10 hours of travel time from surigao city to bislig.
There are very few tourists in bislig and i think that is the same all over surigao del sur, so the locals are really happy to meet you and talk to you.
A lot of foreign and filipino tourists have a bad impression about Mindanao because of the trouble that has been reported. So we want to show people that parts of surigao del sur are safe to travel.
Bislig is a lovely chilled out colorful part of the philippines that nobody should miss out on, and who doesn't want to be celebrities for the day or two.

Paradise In Guimaras Island - The Floating Cottage
Today is day we have been waiting for in Guimaras island, the most paradise place in guimaras, The floating cottage.
First stop on the island tour was the cave, we only heard about this cave from a local we got speaking to. We had no idea what to expect but it was really cool and a well needed break from the sun. The rock formations in the cave was really nice to video and with the added bonus of bats and birds inside. To come to this cave you will need to ask the boatman to take you.
Second stop of the day was the floating cottage is literally a small hidden paradise in guimaras. The floating cottage is located on a sandbar which just looks unreal. The colour of the water is absolutely beautiful, a lovely light blue teal colour. The footage from the drone was some of the best we have ever got in the philippines... absolutly paradise in the philippines.
The floating cottage has a small entry fee of around 50 pesos per person or so and is well worth that for what you get in return. The floating cottage has small snacks like donuts and drinks there.
Next stop on the island hopping tour was a private little empty beach in a cove which was gorgeous. We did a spot of snorkeling it was lovely and a great part of the tour. The water was naturally clear as usual.
Natures eye definitely pulled out all the stops on this tour, it was magical and we have no problem saying this was THE BEST island tour in guimaras comfortably by far.
Highly recommend everybody to go here, if you stay at natures eye this tour will be included in the price.
