LightRail During Snowstorm in the Twin Cities: Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota 2018.
The light rail (Hiawatha Line) in a snow storm in the twin cities of St Paul and Minneapolis in the Midwestern state of Minnesota. Weekday ridership is above 72,000
Metro is a high-capacity transport network serving the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. As of 2016, the system consists of two light rail lines (the Blue and Green Lines, operated by Metro Transit), along with the Red Line, a bus rapid transit extension of the Blue Line operated by the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority. The three lines connect Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul with Bloomington and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, with several extensions in the planning stages.
Service along the entire length of the Green Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a rarity among light rail lines in the United States, but present on some heavy rail lines such as the New York City Subway and PATH. Metro Transit also provides 24/7 service between the stations serving the Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals of MSP Airport.
Type I LRVs were manufactured by Bombardier Transportation, in its Flexity Swift design, utilizing a low floor for accessible boarding at all stations. Metro Transit operates 27 vehicles on the lines, numbered 101 through 127. Initially painted with Metro Transit livery, all have been repainted as of 2015 to reflect the Metro system branding. During this time, Type I cars also were retrofitted with colored LCD headboards for route destination displays and other improvements.
Type II LRVs are manufactured by Siemens in their S70/Avanto model. 59 vehicles have been ordered, primarily to serve the Green Line. Type II LRVs are mechanically, but not electronically, compatible with the current fleet of 27 type I vehicles, so while the two generations do run on the tracks at the same time and both types are able to push a malfunctioning unit of the other type, multiple-unit consists may only be assembled of one type. ~Wikipedia

Oil Workers Union Workers on Strike
Your back up plan for when a union strike, company layoff or company closing happens is internet marketing. Start now so that you have things in place when the strikes and layoffs happen. Waiting means that you will rely on your savings and if laid off, unemployment. If on strike? Just your savings. How long will that last?
When will you begin worrying about putting food on the table?
When will you begin worrying about losing your home?
Strikes and Layoffs in 2015 - happening now:
Workers at nine US oil refineries and chemical plants across four states, producing some 10 percent of the country’s fuel, went on strike after their union announced that negotiations on their salaries and safety concerns failed.
The mass walkout of refinery workers – the first since 1980 – took place on Sunday, after the United Steelworkers union (USW) rejected the fifth offer by the industry’s main negotiator, Royal Dutch Shell Plc, which in turn halted talks.
PostRock Energy Corp in Oklahoma making the 3rd announcement of layoffs this year:
Chaparral Energy and SandRidge energy laying off workers.
2015 Layoffs in Illinois: McDonalds, AT&T Credit & Collection Center, Kenko Logistic Services, Quincy Compressor, Rick River Academy & Residential Center, Market Day LLC, Nutrition Headquarters call center, Concentra
2015 Layoffs IBM - not sure of the numbers just yet, but if there's a rumor then we know it will happen:
2015 Layoffs at EMC, after having laid off 1,000 in 2014.

Coleman A. Young Talks with the Native Detroiter Magazine (1989)
2015.010.030
VHS tape containing an interview between mayor Coleman A. Young and a group of interviewers from Native Detroit Magazine. The camera primarily stays on Young during the interview. The shoot begins with an informal discussion of a recent rally, before Young is asked to provide insight on plans for Detroit in the 1990s. Young lists development projects on the city's east side including the expansion of City Airport; the new Chrysler Jefferson Plant; the Pepsi plant near Eastern Market, and housing developments linking Mount Elliot to Indian Village and in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood around Greyhaven. On the west side he discusses new port, rail, and trucking facilities on the west side to capitalize on the Canada–United States Free Trade Agreement. He also states that his focus is on redeveloping the Ambassador Bridge's plaza to increase the crossing's efficiency rather than building a second span. Continuing the theme of the west side as a transportation hub he speaks of redeveloping Michigan Central Station as an international trade center. Rail is also a priority; he talks of plans for high speed rail between Detroit and Chicago, and commuter rail along Woodward Avenue, and Gratiot Avenue into the suburbs. He also discusses the redevelopment of a hotel at Cass Avenue and Temple Street--presumably the Hotel Fort Wayne--as well as one in Greektown. The impending completion of the Madden Building, Hines' plans for the future Millender Center, plans for a second tower for the Pontchartrain Hotel, the future John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, and the Brush Park housing development are mentioned. Young lists several shopping malls in the works along major roads. He also talks of the expansion of churches in the community as a sign of the city's health.
Prompted by the interviewers, Young also discusses renovating old houses and gentrification, mentioning Detroit's population loss, homelessness, and scrappers as related issues. Referencing the troubles of the 1980 census, Young expresses the need for an honest count in the 1990 census. The interviewers also ask for the mayor's thoughts on President George Bush's September 5, 1989 speech on drugs, and about issues of racial tension and tension between citizens and the police around the country.
The video is on a 3M T-60 tape with handwritten labels on the top and side.

UPDATE: I did my research on the web and it turns out that this is a 300A, not a 321A. Someone brought it to my attention, so I credit them.

What It's Like To Be An Amazon Flex Delivery Driver
Amazon has offered free two-day shipping for Prime members since 2005. As Amazon rolls out a one-day shipping guarantee for its 100 million Prime members, Amazon Flex drivers help solve the company's last mile problem. CNBC spoke to these on-demand contract workers all over the country to find out what it's really like to deliver for Amazon. Watch the video to hear about the pay, pace of work, and how Amazon Flex works.
Is Amazon Prime worth it? For many members, free shipping is a key Amazon Prime benefit that factors into their decision to pay $119 per year for the service. As Amazon starts offering Prime members the added benefit of one-day shipping they're working with on-demand contract drivers to help with this especially labor-intensive and expensive hand-delivery.
We spent a day with Omar Montes, a Flex driver in the San Francisco Bay Area. Omar helped a friend deliver around 46 packages in 3½ hours, for $105. “These are like the good days that make you want to continue doing Amazon. But, you know, there’s obviously bad days too,” Montes said.

SUMMARY
=======
James Longstreet (January 8, 1821 – January 2, 1904) was one of the foremost Confederate generals of the American Civil War and the principal subordinate to General Robert E. Lee, who called him his Old War Horse. He served under Lee as a corps commander for many of the famous battles fought by the Army of Northern Virginia in the Eastern Theater, and briefly with Braxton Bragg in the Army of Tennessee in the Western Theater.
After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Longstreet served in the Mexican–American War. He was wounded in the thigh at the Battle of Chapultepec, and afterward married his first wife, Louise Garland. Throughout the 1850s, he served on frontier duty in the American Southwest. In June 1861, Longstreet resigned his U.S. Army commission and joined the Confederate Army. He commanded Confederate troops during an early victory at Blackburn's Ford in July and played a minor role at the First Battle of Bull Run.
Longstreet's talents as a general made significant contributions to several important Confederate victories, mostly in the Eastern Theater as one of Robert E. Lee's chief subordinates in the Army of Northern Virginia. He performed poorly at Seven Pines by accidentally marching his men down the wrong road, causing them to be late in arrival. He played an important role in the success of the Seven Days Battles in the summer of 1862. Longstreet led a devastating counterattack that routed the Union army at Second Bull Run in August. His men held their ground in defensive roles at Antietam and Fredericksburg. Longstreet's most controversial service was at the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863, where he openly disagreed with General Lee on the tactics to be employed and reluctantly supervised several attacks on Union forces, including the disastrous Pickett's Charge. Afterwards, Longstreet was, at his own request, sent to the Western Theater to fight under Braxton Bragg, where his troops launched a ferocious assault on the Union lines at Chickamauga, which carried the day. Afterwards, his performance in semiautonomous command during the Knoxville Campaign resulted in a Confederate defeat. Longstreet's tenure in the Western Theater was marred by his central role in numerous conflicts amongst important Confederate generals. Unhappy serving under Bragg, Longstreet and his men were sent back to Lee. He ably commanded troops during the Battle of the Wilderness in 1864, where he was seriously wounded by friendly fire. He later returned to the field, serving under Lee in the Siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox Campaign.
He enjoyed a successful post-war career working for the U.S. government as a diplomat, civil servant, and administrator. His conversion to the Republican Party and his cooperation with his old friend, President Ulysses S. Grant, as well as critical comments he wrote in his memoirs about General Lee's wartime performance, made him anathema to many of his former Confederate colleagues. His reputation in the South further suffered when he led African-American militia against the anti-Reconstruction White League at the Battle of Liberty Place in 1874. Authors of the Lost Cause movement focused on Longstreet's actions at Gettysburg as a primary reason for the Confederacy's loss ...
