Salaknib Class 2017 of PMA toured the Capitol Bldg. and Urduja House in Lingayen
Warm welcome was given to some 300 students from Salaknib Class of Philippine Military Academy as they tour the Capitol building in Lingayen. The cadets led by their president were amazed by the beauty of the government facilities and the Capitol building itself which is now renown as one of the famous tourist destination in Pangasinan.

Lingayen's Strategic Role in World War II
Lingayen, the capital of Pangasinan province, played a strategic role in the Second World War, specifically in the liberation of Manila from Japanese invaders. General Douglas MacArthur directed the war effort from there, right after the historic invasion of Lingayen Gulf, the early precursor to Allied victory.
Historical accounts and local perspectives are provided by both Pangasinan provincial and tourism officials in the interview incorporated in this video.
