Going with some friends, new and old, on their pilgrimage to some sights significant to Tibetan Buddhism. We first travelled to 'Pharping' via bus to have a look at Vajrayogini Temple. Unfortunately filming was not permitted inside the temple, however, the temple grounds were just as magical. There was a lot a stairs to climb which became a little bit challenging in the humid heat. The small cave that I entered was apparently where the founder of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal meditated.
Afterwards, we dropped by the 'Chadral Rinpoche Center' who was recognised to be a living Buddha. Again, there was no filming permitted inside the temple. Sorry!
The bus ride home was interestingly bumpy!

At Sakhu, another holy temple is located in the bank of Sali nadi, locally known as the Shreeswoastani temple. It is famous ancient Sankha-shaped structure. This structure is unique and amazingly carved the whole wooden windows and doors. In the mouth of Magh in the Nepalese calendar, Sali Nadi is a great attraction place for Hindu devotees. A whole mount h the devotees will do fasting, worship goddess Swasthani and read the story about her.Devotees believes that if they have bath into the salinadi, all your sins, will be washed out. This festival will be whole one mouth.

Bajrayogini Temple is a Tantrik temple located at Sankhu in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. It is also well known as Bodhisattva's Temple. The temple is actually a sort of temple complex, with the main temple having been built by King Pratap Malla in the sixteenth century. Vajrayogini is a Buddhist tantric deity, she is also conflated with Ugra Tara, a form of the Buddhist dharmapala Ekajati.However, the temple is sacred to both Buddhists and Hindus. The Bajrayogini Temple is situated roughly 20 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu. The area where it is located is often referred to as Gunbaha, which can be roughly translated from Newari as ‘recreational forest place’. The main temple is a three-story high building, which was obviously carefully constructed with the utmost attention to detail. You will likely find a statue of the goddess Bajrayogini in this temple which will feature a red face with three eyes as well as hands, which have the thumb and middle finger carefully, decorated. Ornaments surround her statue

Vajrayogini est un temple plein de charme situé à une vingtaine de kilomètres de Katmandou (Népal). Pour y accéder, il faut monter un escalier interminable, mais on est récompensé de son effort. Au niveau inférieur se trouve une pagode à triple toit datant du XVIIe siècle avec une superbe façade en métal repoussé. À l'étage supérieur se trouve le temple de la déesse tantrique Vajrayogini à l'intérieur duquel on ne peut ni filmer ni photographier. L'ensemble est noyé dans un bosquet d'arbres très anciens et très imposants.
Ce film ne montre guère la beauté architecturale du lieu. C'est plutôt un film d'ambiance où l'on voit un groupe de pèlerins népalais plongés dans une partie de cartes tandis que toutes sortes d'animaux leur tournent autour.
