FISHING FLORIDA..... VENICE BEACH/GULF COAST
FISHING THE GULF COAST IS MY NEW FAVORITE THING.
I can not get enough of the Gulf Coast. There are so many fishing towns, and so many fishing spots. Also, not as many people as there are in Miami. Parking is free, there are actual parking spaces, very little traffic, friendly faces everywhere, and do you want to know why?
VENICE BEACH IS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL.
I lost my hat cam hat, so I missed a lot of the action, but I'm thankful I was able to put this little video together to remember the time. We stayed at an airbnb in a bird sanctuary and a birds song was ever present. I saw cardinals, king fishers, and even a pileated wood pecker.
We stopped at every fishing hole we found, but the secret little pier at the end of an alligator habitat was the most productive. We caught about 20 snappers, a couple snook, a jack, about 180 ladyfish, and I hooked up a late night 22 redfish. The bike ride back through the alligator habitat at night was terrifying... ijs.
Thank you for watching. Make sure to visit Venice Florida if you haven't already. I am putting a link to the airbnb so you can book it now. I haven't done a voice over in a while so I'm a little rusty.

Motorhome Dashcam - Myakka River Motorcoach Resort Port Charlotte FL
Arriving at Myakka River Motorcoach Resort in a 43' tag axle motorhome. For our full review see No problems at this resort for a big rig! The entrance to Kerrigan Circle from El Jobean (SR 776) might be easy to miss so we suggest studying satellite images and street view prior to arrival. You have two chances heading south on El Jobean but only one heading north. Some of the secondary roads in this area have weight limits (6 wheels) so we suggest sticking to the main roadways.
