BREAKING NEWS, BOMB EXPLOSION IN DERRY CITY, NORTHERN IRELAND, 2019, LIFE AFTERLIFE TV PRODUCTIONS.
THIS EXPLOSION JUST HAPPENED A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY WHERE I WAS LEAVING A FRIENDS HOUSE WHEN THERE WAS A LOUD BANG AND A BLAST WHICH SHUCK THE GROUND SO I WENT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED.
DERRY HAS ALOT OF HAUNTED HISTORY AND I WAS PLANNING TO VISIT THESE PLACES AND THESE PLACES WERE BASED NEAR WHERE THIS ALL HAPPENED BUT FORGETTING IT WAS SATURDAY NIGHT AND THEN IT STARTED RAINING MADE US CHANGE OUR MIND SO WHAT HAPPENED WAS A SHOCK TO US. I HAVE FILMED OTHER PLACES BUT NEVER IN DERRY CITY ITSELF WHICH HAS ALOT OF HISTORY OF HAUNTINGS, FROM THE VERBAL ARTS CENTRE TO THE OLD CINEMA AND A NUMBER OF PLACES AROUND THE CITY. HOPEFULLY I CAN GET TO FILM THESE PLACES ANOTHER TIME.
I DO REALISE THAT WHAT HAPPENED CAN BRING BACK SOME BAD MEMORIES FROM THE PAST AFTER THERE AS BEEN SO MUCH PEACE FOR SO LONG. SOME PEOPLE HAVE STRONG POLITICAL VIEWS AND LIKE TO EXPRESS THOSE VIEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. ITS NOT HAPPENING ON MY CHANNEL SO IM ASKING PEOPLE TO BE RESPECTFUL TO EACH OTHER IF THEY DO NOT WANT THERE COMMENTS TO BE DELETED.
THE MAIN THING IN ALL THIS IS THAT NOBODY WAS INJURED.

Warmest UK Halloween on record @ Londonderry/ Derry 2014
Halloween Events in Derry/ Londonderry.
Welcome to our world famous Hallowe’en celebration, the largest in Europe.
They’re the oldest unbroken ramparts in Europe and have stood witness to over 400 years of Derry’s fascinating history, and this Hallowe’en the city’s walls will become a stage for a fiery production of fantasy and mythical mischief.
For three days October 30 - November 1, the Walls will provide the atmospheric backdrop for the Awakening the Walls – Citadel of Dreams production, staged by celebrated landscape theatre company LUXe, the team behind last year’s impressive Inferno at Ebrington Square.
This year’s show has a distinctly more ethereal theme, with a theatrical dreamworld of light, fire, sculpture, and circus antics that will completely transform one of Ireland’s best know landmarks.
Speaking on behalf of the theatre company, Mark Hill explained some of the thinking behind the Citadel of Dreams which is one of the key highlights in the Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival.
“This year’s performance will have a distinctly different flavour than last year, and it will be much softer and dreamlike in its approach,” he revealed.
“A lot of work has been done around the theme of dreams, and in creating the sensation of entering a dream world for the duration of your journey. There will be music, dancers, aerialists, and even a processional performance on the Grand Parade.
“When the opportunity arose to perform on the Walls we jumped at the chance, as it’s the perfect setting for a performance of this kind. Last year’s show was very dark and mischievous but this year we wanted to do something in keeping with the setting and the sense of history.
“We use light to create some beautiful visual effects and it’s a great opportunity for people to explore the Walls by night – you never know what you might come across.”
Festival and Events Manager with Derry City Council Karan Leonard said: “The City Walls are the perfect setting for an after dark Hallowe’en performance, and I’m looking forward to seeing the final preparations for the show after last year’s atmospheric Inferno production at Ebrington.
“It’s the perfect opportunity to either walk the Walls for the first time or experience them in a completely different light – and enjoy an unforgettable supernatural celebration.”
The Citadel of Dreams is a continuous performance around the Walls that will take around 30 minutes to complete. Viewers can begin the journey at St Columb’s Cathedral, and the performance will be ongoing throughout Viewers can begin the journey at St Columb’s Cathedral, and the performance will be ongoing throughout the evenings, beginning from 6.30pm – 8.30pm on Thursday and Saturday, and 5.30pm until 7pm on Friday.
The show is just one element in a packed programme of family events taking place throughout the Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Festival from October 25-November 2.
Other highlights include the creepy Chateau le Fear, Ebrington Square’s very own haunted house of horrors. The Square will also host the Freaky Fun Fair with spills and chills aplenty for all your little ghosts and ghouls running from now until November 2.
Add to this ghost tours, Hallowe’en Balls, a special Hallowe’en Horror film week at the Nerve Centre, the Killer Books Festival at the Verbal Arts Centre, Jackula japes at the Waterside Theatre, and spooky shows at St Columb’s Hall and you have all the ingredients for a fangtastic Hallowe’en.
