Hanoi, Vietnam with Bunnik Tours
Hanoi is a big busy city but as we explore it, it is hard not to fall under its spell. Our day starts with a traditional tai chi class at the Hoan Kiem Lake, right in the heart of the city. Afterwards our touring begins, with highlights including the Temple of Literature, Tortoise Pagoda, St Joseph's Cathedral and the National History Museum. Our sightseeing concludes with a walking tour around the Old Quarter, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses - and a great place to buy local handicrafts! We then head to the hills of the Hoa Binh Province. Here we visit the traditional Muong village of Giang Mo, a small village of traditional stilt houses, nestled among rice paddies and rolling hills. Here we enjoy a traditional dance performance before returning to Hanoi. Enjoy this and more on our small group tours through Vietnam. For full details of our small group tour program to Asia visit bunniktours.com.au.

Apartment Hunting in Hanoi, Vietnam 2017 | LIFE IN VIETNAM
I visited 6 different apartments in Hanoi, Vietnam. Did I find what I was looking for? Watch the video to find out!
So within the first 3 days of moving to Hanoi, I was already out and about doing apartment hunting. The main source of listings that foreigners use is from the Facebook group Hanoi Massive Housing. It is completely full of a variety of accommodations and all the realtors/agents that post there are extremely responsive and all spoke English decently.
I was looking to be in the Ba Dinh district of Hanoi, mainly cause it's a central location, and it's most authentic in terms of not being flooded with foreigners/expats. The district known for that is Tay Ho, which is around West Lake.
I saw some bad places and some decent places. But which one did I go for? I went with Apartment 6, which is technically in Tay Ho district, but it's on the south side of the lake and borders Ba Dinh district. It feels more like Ba Dinh than Tay Ho for sure, I see almost no foreigners at all around this neighborhood.
I hope you enjoyed this little video. It was fun going out to see what apartments would be like in Hanoi and filming it for you all.
Stay tuned for an actual full tour video of my new apartment! Thanks for your support and love, please Subscribe, Like, Share and leave many comments and questions! ❤

VIETNAM MUSEUM OF ETHNOLOGY | HANOI CITY TOUR | HANOI ATTRACTIONS
Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam in an effort to preserve cultural heritage and promote socio-cultural diversity within the country. Visitors are welcome to browse some of the vast research on offer at this public museum which is also a centre for ethnographic research.
The museum is packed full of information detailing traditional Vietnamese ways of life, from religious events to the symbolic rituals of all the Vietnamese ethnic groups, providing a rich tapestry of the culture melting pot existing in Vietnam. The exhibition hall features everyday objects representing each group, a research centre, library and auditorium. The outdoor display area exhibits a variety of Vietnamese homes as full-scale replicas, with great attention paid to the varying architectural styles set within the authentic and tranquil gardens. In addition, there are also leisure pursuits on display including traditional water puppet theatre and calligraphy. The future aim of the museum is to also showcase the many cultural practices and civilisations across Southeast Asia.
The museum has over 15,000 artefacts including photographs and other multi-media such as audiotapes. Its indoor exhibition space can be viewed via a virtual tour which includes the Viet, Muong, Tho, Chut, Tav, Thai, Ka Dai, H’Mong-Dao, Tang, San Dui, Ngai, Mon-Khmer, Nam-Dao, Cham, Hoa and Khmer ethnic groups. There are priceless antiques on display alongside everyday objects such as pipes, baskets and knives. Expect to see a wide range of interesting items on display at the museum with clothes, jewellery and items relating to weddings, funeral ceremonies and other spiritual rituals also exhibited across the 54 communities offering an incomparable glimpse of their history, heritage and cultural identity.
The outdoor area presents a range of traditional homes including a Tay stilt house and a Viet house complete with indigenous foliage, each separated by a small stream and reached via little bridges. One of the main features of the museum is to present the artefacts in a simple manner so that visitors can enjoy them without being overwhelmed by detail. The museum is suitable for children and all documents and display signs throughout have been translated into French and English. Opening Hours: From 08:30 - 17:30, closed on Mondays Location: On Nguyen Van Huyen Street in the Cau Giay district of Hanoi about 8km away from the centre of town Remarks: The museum also has wheelchair access with ramps throughout and an elevator for access to the second floor How to get there: best to go via taxi to the museum which will take about 20 minutes or alternatively take the number 14 minibus from Dinh Tien Hoang Street (just north of Hoan Kiem Lake) to the Nghia Tan stop and walk two blocks

$350 Vietnam Apartment Tour in Hanoi | LIFE IN VIETNAM
This is a FULL TOUR of my new apartment in Hanoi, Vietnam. I moved into this place mid-June, and have been absolutely satisfied!
It's a Studio apartment, in the Thuy Khue Ward of Tay Ho district, in Hanoi city. It's a very authentic Vietnamese neighborhood (meaning, not so many foreigners at all). Just the way I like it.
After viewing quite a few disappointing locations in my apartment hunting video ( I was finally able to land this place, which really fit my style and daily living needs.
It is $350 per month, with one month deposit. It includes a secure parking cage for motorcycles, purified water service, high-speed WiFi, and a cleaning maid comes twice a week to clean the apartment. Electricity is separate and propane gas are separate.
I found this apartment while looking around the Hanoi Massive Housing Facebook group, so if you're looking for a place, I suggest checking out those groups first. There were a few with the same name, but all of them had thousands of members, so any one of them was good for listings of places.
If you have any questions about my apartment, how I found it, details about the lease, or whatever, please leave your comment/questions down below!
