Vietnam, from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City
22 days, 8 flights, 2 night trains, rickshaws,
junk ships and loads of mopeds helped us form an idea of what kind of a country Vietnam is.
The extremely organized chaos of daily traffic fades away next to the intense richness that every Vietnamese person carries with them and they are not afraid to reflect this on everyone that comes near them. Serving as our first encounter with Asia this was definitely a pleasant surprise and there remains nothing for us but to recommend you visit Vietnam. Would you choose to honor Vietnam with a visit, WIDE EYED TOURS should definitely be considered a candidate. Our trip was a great success, for a large part thanks to this travel organization. If you prefer to travel stress free then look no further. Sincere smiles, great food, cold beer, beautiful culture, sparsely populated mountain villages and sunny beaches, everything get's covered.
Go and discover.
Finding GOOD FOOD in Vietnam | The Vietnam Journals 5
Good times.
This first city taught me a lesson. Eat where the locals eat. Don't eat anywhere with an English menu because they're expecting tourists. The food won't be as authentic, which means it won't taste as good and it will be more expensive (they know tourists have money so they jack up the prices).
Lyrics:
Boy was I mistaken, no good food here
Korean in Vietnam? You shouldn't change gears
Menu was in English, I should have stayed clear
Don't trust any pictures it is not sincere (don't trust em)
Rolled up into place, they acting all surprised
Shit we got customers? what's wrong with my eyes?
I sat down waited, and ordered from the menu
When they went into the backroom I should have left the venue
Official Vietnam Rap coming soon...

Is Cu Chi REALLY Worth Visiting? - Vietnamese Coffee Problem ????????
In this travel video, it is about the journey that we are guided by our foreigner friends who have lived in Saigon for a long time. This day trip we had is not so far from Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City ) - we do it all by ourselves and we think this is definitely what you should not miss while traveling to Vietnam. Have you heard of the Cu Chi tunnel? - it is an immense network of connecting tunnels and was the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters... Getting to know how people live their lives in the tunnel back then was mind-blowing for us... For example, back then they use coconut water instead of IV in the tunnel and there are people alive today from that... If this stuff is something that interest you, make sure to watch this video.

Saigon was the capital of the Republic of Vietnam, commonly known as South Vietnam. Many of the city's landmarks which are well known to international visitors include the Bến Thành Market, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, Independence Palace and it’s a popular destination to have the day trip to Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong delta.

Topography
The terrain gradually slopes from the north to the south and from the east to the west. Mountainous area covers 40% natural area; 33% natural area is highland and the left is valley area.
Climate
The climate of Gia Lai is divided into two main seasons: rainy season and dry season. The rainy season lasts from May to November and the rest time of a year is for dry season (from December to April). Temperature commonly ranges between 21 and 25oC. It is estimated that the annual average rainfall on the west is higher than that on the East of Truong Son Ranges.
Tourism
Coming to Gia Lai, visitors have a change to discover many impressive, poetic scenes. They are Kon Ka Kinh, Kon Cha Rang tropical forests, Xung Khoeng Waterfall, Phu Cuong Waterfall, Da Trang, Mo springs and Ayaun Ha Lake. Located on the top of an extinct volcano, Bien Ho (To Nung Lake) is called the 'Pearl of Pleiku'. Its water is so clear that visitors can see fish swimming under blue water.
The province is also proud of funeral houses, La Phum and D'ko Tu traditional villages with special Rong house. Whenever going to this windy and sunny land, visitors are likely to see the unique architectural style of the statues in funeral houses, and to investigate the local customs and practice mysterious to them. Apart of that, tens of thousands of visitors are attracted to Dong Xanh Cutural Park in which many typical varieties of flowers and trees of Central Highlands are planted.
Gia Lai has historic sites such as King Quang Trung's guerilla base, Nup hero's homeland, Pleiku Prison, Pleime, Cheo Leo, and La Rang battlefields.
Gia Lai has long history and old ethnic culture, mainly Gia Lai and Ba Na ethnics. This uniquely character stamps of rong house, house on stills, tomb-house statue architectural styles, traditional festivals, customs and musical instruments. In attractive events like Po Thi (leaving-the-tomb) ceremony, buffalo stabbing festival, xoang dance the ethnic groups show their customs with colorful, mystical pattern, perform many traditional dances and uniquely musical instruments (horn, gong lu, gongs).
Buffalo – Stabbing Festival is a popular festival in the Central Highlands, and the most well-known cultural activity in the region. The festival is held at the Communal House. After the praying ceremonies for the deities to come and witness the villagers’ keen sincerity and to receive their offerings, the buffalo is then brought to a column in the middle of the yard, where everyone, young and old, female and male, dance to the sound of gongs. A buffalo-stabbing group, which consists of young strong men armed with cold spears, appears and the buffalo stabbing ceremony begins. The villagers kill the buffalo, which is sacrificed to Giang (God), and then they celebrate with a big feast. The Buffalo-Stabbing Festival usually lasts for two or three days on special occasions for the villager or household. The whole community happily participates.
Transportation
Pleiku is 186km from Quy Nhon, 197km from Buon Ma Thuot, and 550km from Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam Airlines has daily from Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City to Pleiku Airport. Pleiku Airport is 25km from Pleiku City centre, 45km from Kon Tum.
Chunky's Vietnam Travelogue - Part 1
Here's a simple compilation of the the key dance events that i had the opportunity to document during my recent trip to the beautiful city of Hanoi. It had opened my eyes wide to the land that produces some of asia's most passionate dancers.
I was there as a Locking judge for Vietnam's first big scale street dance event called One Love Vietnam, organised by Big Toe Crew and Floor The Love. The honour was mine as i got to meet some of the nicest and more sincere people ever.
I can't say enough thanks to Big Toe Family and Milky way crew for their generous hospitality and friendship that made this trip the most memorable one for me. One Love to Vietnam!
Last FULL DAY of EATING in VIETNAM | Hoi An
Our last full day of eating in Hoi An, Vietnam commenced with a buffet breakfast at the Sincerity Hotel. Choose from a selection of various Vietnamese dishes as well as the special noodle of the day - we had Cao Lau noodles, Mi Quang noodles and Chicken Pho noodles on different days.
This was followed by a bike ride into Old Town where we stopped by the Japanese Bridge for some Bánh bột lọc (clear dumplings) which were filled with mungbeans and shrimp. Absolutely cheap and delicious street food. Aunty was nice enough to let us try a few before buying a bunch.
We went by ‘Quan An Hai’ for some of their popular Mi Quang (Quang Nam style noodles) for lunch. 30K VND ($1.75AUD) for a decent bowl of authentic turmeric noodles filled with shrimp, quail eggs and barbecued pork? Yes please!
Alas, our amazing Vietnam trip was nearing it’s end and we had to rush to Danang Airport for our flight back to HCMC. Being the fatties we are, we tried some Popeyes Fried Chicken. What an end to the trip!
PS: It was so damn humid and hot - we were sweating bucketloads.
Anyway, thank you for watching and following our food and travel journey! Remember to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already! We really appreciate all your support and comments! Where would you like us to visit next?!

When I Met with a Massage Girl in Vietnam // Big Trouble// Part -13
When I Met with a Massage Girl in Vietnam // Big Trouble
Karaoke, Hangout & Massages in Vietnam
Sorry ladies, Vietnam is no doubt a men’s paradise, even if only for the eyes. You are likely to see more charming smiles, graceful bodies and seducing eyes per square kilometer than in any other place on earth. Although prostitution is rampant, in Vietnam even the dancing girls and the taxi girls (girls that you bring back to your hotel room) have retained an air of youthful naiveté and sincerity that adds to their already devastating charm. But caution is always the best approach in uncharted territory. There is makeup and then there is life. Karaoke and massage parlors are often the front doors to more sleazy and personal services. But, under constant surveillance from the social evils police, many establishments are just what they advertise … places to sing and relax, albeit in the company of charming young and respectable ladies. The one thing to remember is that, except in the true-blue back alley clandestine bordellos, you can still go for a sing-along or a regular Vietnamese massage in any establishment that advertises these services. Extras are extras and never compulsory. But they forced me into it … is not such a good line for anyone who knows the scene here.
Massages & Massage Parlors in Vietnam
Vietnamese massage is mostly influenced by Chinese methods of therapy but has evolved to be unique in that it really focuses on kneading and working out the knots in the muscles. By contrast, Thai massage use a lot of muscle movement, stretching, and moving limbs. There are massage parlors with scantily clad women eyeing potentials customer as they walk by. It may seem like it is not a legitimate spa but it’s indeed! It’s more like men’s club where men can get a proper shave, sit in the sauna or lounge in the VIP area, order food and get a massage at the same time.
Unlike in other countries where the happy ending is most likely advertised legally, in Vietnam if you want to get a happy ending you may feel like finding the needle in the haystack. In fact, there are numerous places to go for happy ending massage in Ho Chi Minh City,
