Vietnam Travel Guide: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh
Gorgeous beaches, fascinating and complicated history, incredible food, lush nature; Vietnam is a country that truly has it all. Whether this country is first or fiftieth on your list, our travel guide has all the information you need to know if you’re planning (or dreaming of planning!) a trip to Vietnam.
Leave your expectations behind if you’re heading to Vietnam: here, you’ll eat noodles for breakfast, do your shopping in the middle of the night, and discover a country with a new story around every corner.
Hanoi more than delivers on urban excitement. If you’re looking for unique and mouth-watering food, the night markets of the Vietnamese capital should be your very first stop. You can enjoy a zippy ride on a scooter, all the street-food you can eat, and a night exploring the rapid development of this modern city. From trendy clubs to traditional puppet shows, experience a nightlife that’s all Vietnam’s own, and eat and drink the night away with locals and visitors alike!
Of course, Vietnam isn’t all fast-paced cities and rooftop bars. For a slower pace, head to Ha Long Bay and sail alongside limestone islets, with their lush rainforests towering above your head. The water is emerald-green, matching the vibrant greenery, and a sailing excursion here is like nothing else you’ve experienced before! A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the islets of Ha Long Bay are said have been thrown into the bay by a dragon protecting the people of Vietnam. Take a junk boat tour for a close encounter, or try scuba diving or snorkelling in the bay!
You’ll find a new adventure around every corner in Vietnam. From breakfast in the Bình Tây Market and a secret tunnel system in Ho Chi Minh City, to sailing along the Mekong Delta in a traditional basket boat, you can find your perfect trip - no matter what that looks like - somewhere in Vietnam.
There’s no time like the present to start planning an adventure of your own in this majestic country, so why not start today? Head over to TourRadar to explore the range of tours available, or watch more of our videos exploring Vietnam if you still haven’t gotten enough of seeing the beautiful views and incredible adventures you could be having.

Hanoi Street Food - Vietnam Typical Tours
Hang Buom Street Food - Hanoi Street Food
In the evening of September 19th 2014, Hang Buom Food Street in Hanoi Old Quarter was officially opened by Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company. This food street is expected to promote Hanoi cuisine to tourists.
Hang Buom Food Street along with Hang Dao night market, Dong Xuan market and walking street in the Old Quarter are expected to become a charming attraction in Hanoi that welcomes most tourists in the near future. With a length of approximately 300 meters, Hang Buom Street consists of 40 stalls selling traditional foods of Hanoi and a number of Western restaurants. Stalls are designed elaborately suitable for space of Hanoi Old Quarter and similar to Hang Dao night market. Especially, stalls are required not to use so much water when preparing foods because it will have a bad impact on environmental hygiene.
At Huong Tuong Temple on Ma May Street, a location near Hang Buom Street, art programs like traditional and folk music show are held to serve tourists visiting Hang Buom and other walking streets in Hanoi Old Quarter. Visiting Hang Buom Street Food, tourists will have a chance to contemplate the beauty of the Old Quarter at night that brings a peaceful charm different from bustling atmosphere in daylight, to explore sophisticated architecture of ancient houses and to enjoy cultural activities in traditional and contemporary forms.
According to Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company, the main investor, Hang Buom Food Street will be tested for 3 months, periodically taking place on three weekend nights. Afterwards, the company will assess the operating efficiency as well as the benefit that the street gains, then improving the organizing activities of the food street.

HALONG BAY TOUR | Day Trip Cruise from Hanoi 2019
Day 32- Took a Halong bay 1 day tour cruise from Hanoi, Vietnam. We booked a 1 day trip with Dragon King Cruises and it was an amazing experience. The cruise we booked was among one of the cheapest and highest rated for the experience.
We found it at a travel agency in Hanoi and it fit all of our needs and budget. We were able to go from Hanoi to Halong Bay and experience a lot of what Halong Bay had to offer for only 35$, in my opinion that is a steal because Ha Long Bay is on of the most beautiful places in the world.
We did many activities in the tour among some of my favorites which were kayaking an underwater cave, exploring sung sot cave, and hiking titop island for some amazing views atop a mountain. Overall really great experience and one of my favorite days in Vietnam.

Hanoi, Vietnam with Bunnik Tours
Hanoi is a big busy city but as we explore it, it is hard not to fall under its spell. Our day starts with a traditional tai chi class at the Hoan Kiem Lake, right in the heart of the city. Afterwards our touring begins, with highlights including the Temple of Literature, Tortoise Pagoda, St Joseph's Cathedral and the National History Museum. Our sightseeing concludes with a walking tour around the Old Quarter, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses - and a great place to buy local handicrafts! We then head to the hills of the Hoa Binh Province. Here we visit the traditional Muong village of Giang Mo, a small village of traditional stilt houses, nestled among rice paddies and rolling hills. Here we enjoy a traditional dance performance before returning to Hanoi. Enjoy this and more on our small group tours through Vietnam. For full details of our small group tour program to Asia visit bunniktours.com.au.

We found a bunch of unique and delicious Vietnamese street foods that you really need to try, all around Hanoi's old quarter! Despite this area being quite tourist, we found a lot of delicious food, so far, this has been the BEST street food city I've visited in Southeast asia!
In this Vietnam Street Food tour video, Myself (Trevor James, The Food Ranger), am taking you on a food street journey to many delicious, mouthwatering street food places around Hanoi in Northern Vietnam. If you're deciding whether or not to travel to Vietnam for the street food, you really need to come visit Hanoi. You can enjoy unique Vietnamese street foods hidden in Hanoi's old quarter alleyways and try classic Vietnam cuisine specialties like Pho for Breakfast, Bun Cha for lunch, A ton of different rice noodle dishes, and a ton of other hidden delights.
Over the past 3 years, I've filmed and eaten street food around China, including locations like Chengdu, Lanzhou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Beijing, Wuhan, Leshan, Shanghai, and Xinjiang's Silk Road. So far, the street food in each of these locations has been the best street food around the world! BUT, I haven't shot a ton of street food in Southeast Asia, so we made it our goal to come to Vietnam to try the street foods. So far, it has totally been worth it!
Vietnamese cuisine is so delicious, and even though I've only been here a short while, I'm sure that it would really need a lifetime to eat all of it. I've decided to stay living in China, and move around to other countries like Vietnam for another year or two or even more, shooting delicious street food in china for you and across asia as well!
Here are the addresses and locations and restaurant names for the Vietnam street food I had in this Hanoi, Vietnam travel video. Most locations were deep in Hanoi's old quarter alleyways!
