In Part 1 of this Munich travel video, Mark’s first stop for Munich Germany food is at Viktualienmarkt, an incredible open-air food market in the heart of Munich. From there, a quick stop at Schuhbecks tea and spice shop.
In Part 2 of this travel guide, it's then on for more Munich food to Zum Franziskaner for the best Bavarian cream of mushroom soup, Bavarian pretzels and of course, some German beer.
In Part 3, a stop for more Munich food and beer at the world’s most famous beer garden, Hofbräuhaus, for some roast pork knuckle, traditional Hofbräuhaus band music and dancing.
In Part 4, it’s a whole episode on Munich Germany nightlife with a quick stop to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a martini and a sunset view of Munich from the rooftop bar. For dinner, a stop to Zum Augustiner Brau for schnitzel and beer.

The Viktualienmarkt is a permanent market for food in the old town of Munich. It has been held daily since 1807, except on Sundays and holidays. Extraordinary dairy, fish and fruit products can be purchased. The appearance of the over two acres of terrain is characterized by firmly built stalls with sometimes large expenses.
Der Viktualienmarkt ist ein ständiger Markt für Lebensmittel in der Altstadt von München. Er findet seit 1807 täglich, außer an Sonn- und Feiertagen, statt. Man kann außergewöhnliche Milch-, Fisch und Fruchtprodukte erwerben. Das Erscheinungsbild des über zwei Hektar großen Geländes wird durch fest errichtete Buden mit zum Teil großen Auslagen geprägt.

We're in Munich, Germany!! We only had less than 48 hours so our schedule was pretty packed. Also, I visited the Dachau Concentration Camp but I did not want to film there out of respect. Nonetheless, Munich was a really interesting and fun city. Trying different food was also really fun!

Hi Folks,
I was looking through some hard drives the other day and I found a ton of footage from several different trips away. I'm gonna try and get as much uploaded as possible. My schedule is as hectic as always but I'll see how much I can get through.
This is the THIRD part of a trip to Munich to shoot a film for the department of international trade. It was a fun but eventful trip.

In early September 2018, my wife and I spent two weeks touring through Germany and the Czech Republic. In this video, we're still in Munich and wandering around the area of the Viktualienmarkt looking for luggage stores. The victuals market is amazing and I regret that we didn't get to really spend any time shopping and checking out the amazing food on display at the local vendors.

Viktualienmarkt - Munich outdoor food market
When the food market of the city had grown too large for the central square Marienplatz, King Maximilian I issued a decree in 1807 to have it moved a few metres to the south-east, to the square between Heiliggeist-Kirche and Frauenstraße. Charity buildings that had once belonged to the church were demolished to make way for the market square or Markplatz, which only much later came to be known as Viktualienmarkt or victuals market.

In this video, I'm sharing my time with you as I traveled into Munich, Germany with my daughter Kelsey @Kelsey Simone . She is part of the new Sephora Collection team and I went as her plus one. Many watching will ask why Kelsey is not in the clips and that's because she had to work during this trip and I was either going to sit in a hotel room all by myself or get out and roam around Munich and that's just what I did! So while Kelsey was with the team, I was out gallivanting drinking warm, mulled cider and Christmas shopping having the time of my life!

The Viktualienmarkt is a daily food market and a square in the center of Munich, Germany. The Viktualienmarkt developed from an original farmers' market to a popular market for gourmets.

This week went to the famous Viktualienmarkt which is a 200 year old farmer's and gourmet market in the old town of Munich in Germany. In today's Food Haul I'll show you everything I got there. DIESES VIDEO GIBT ES AUCH AUF DEUTSCH:
The name Viktualienmarket comes from the latin word victualia which means groceries. It is open all year round from monday through saturday. The Viktualienmarkt has over a hundred stalls with fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, spices, fish, flowers and crafts. There's even a small beer garden in the center of the market.
When you come to Munich, make sure to make the visit of the Viktualienmarkt one of your first stops, as some stalls close already at 6 p.m. The beer garden, however, closes at 10 p.m. during summer time.
How to get there: Take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Marienplatz and follow the signs pointing to the Viktualienmarkt – you'll be there in one minute.
