1959 high-rise Starlift-Voorburg elevators at Torenflat Maastricht, Netherlands
Odd and even elevators without inner doors, which go as far as floor 14. Amazing!
These elevators have been modernized. The fixtures have been replaced (I wonder who made the new fixtures) and the motor is changed, no idea if replaced or just modified. Unfortunately the Even elevator goes painfully slow now, GRRRR! The Odd lift is much faster. Strange! These elevators are still fun to ride, however the odd elevator MUCH more than the slow even elevator :-)
The modernising company calls itself Bellboy lifttechniek, this name sounds kind of, well, po**-like. You know, that word with P, that makes school servers blocking access to a page. Never seen this anywhere else before...
This building has got very nice 1950's artwork on it's architecture in the elevator lobby on the ground floor. These are some of the few Dutch elevators which have their year of construction stated in the elevator. This is not common in the Netherlands.
Starlift-Voorburg at C&A in Groningen, Netherlands
A single Starlift-Voorburg, this is the only elevator in the entire shop so it also serves the staff-only floors. These are basement and floor 3. These floors are locked.
This elevator is an original and unmodernized Starlift from the '70s or '80s. Really nice and reliable elevator.
Terrorcrows attack people in Voorburg Holland
In the week around 20th of May 2016, in the city of Voorburg, Holland, two crows attack random people passing by on bicycles. They probably have a nest in the area and are just protecting their babies.
In de week rond 20 mei 2016 in Voorburg vallen twee kraaien diverse fietsers aan. Waarschijnlijk hebben de kraaien een nest in de buurt en beschermen hiermee hun kuikens.

1981 Starlift-Voorburg elevator at Strandresort Schier, Schiermonnikoog, Netherlands
There is a good chance that this is the oldest elevator on the island of Schiermonnikoog. A pretty nice Starlift from the early 1980's, modernizsed by Möhringer Liften but still quite awesome. This lift is hydraulic.
