Театральный плакат - это первое впечатление о спектакле, обобщение его образного и смыслового значения, предвкушение спектакля, его смутное предощущение. Что скрывается в плакате - квинтэссенция образов спектакля или лишь туманный намек на его визуальный ряд?
О вопросах отношений между спектаклем и плакатом, его месте в визуальной эстетике театрального искусства и своих работах расскажут специалисты в области дизайна и плаката Игорь Гурович и Анастасия Нефёдова.
Анастасия Нефёдова - художник по костюмам в кино и театре, дизайнер, художник-постановщик. Главный художник Электротеатра «Станиславский». Для спектакля-трилогии Бориса Юхананова «Синяя птица» создала уникальную коллекцию из более чем 350 фантастических костюмов. Получила в 2016 году «Золотую Маску» в номинации «Лучший художник по костюмам в музыкальном театре» за костюмы к оперному сериалу «Сверлийцы». Преподает в киношколе «Cinemotion» и Мастерской Индивидуальной Режиссуры Бориса Юхананова.
Игорь Гурович - художник и дизайнер, окончил МГХПА им. Строганова по специальности «дизайн автомобилей». Гурович — лауреат многих профессиональных премий. Работал театральным художником в России, в Латвии и во Франции. Семь лет разрабатывал дизайн книг издательства «ИМА-Пресс». В 2002 году основал Ostengruppe — одно из самых известных и уважаемых российских дизайн-бюро. Ostengruppe участвовало в оформлении Московского международного кинофестиваля, «Кинотавра», «Золотого орла».

In January 2018, The Danish Broadcast Corporation (DR) aired a concert called “The Morricone Duel” performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra /DR SymfoniOrkestret, The Danish National Concert Choir with various soloists conducted by Sarah Hicks.
The score is available on all regular Streaming-Platforms.
The music performed was titles from a wide range of western movies and mafia movies reflecting different perspectives on an Italian-American movie and film music style.
Featured composers were Ennio Morricone, Bernard Herrmann, Nino Rota and Sonny Bono with music from films by Sergio Leone, Quentin Tarantino, Brian DePalma and Francis Ford Coppola.

Violist Edmundo Ramirez's performances take him throughout the world, to major concert halls such as Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York City, Bellas Artes Hall in Mexico, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Parco de la Musica in Italy, The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the National Theater of Costa Rica, and Suntory Hall in Japan. His concert appearances, as soloist and chamber musician, include performances with the Absolute Ensemble, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, Fine Arts String Quartet, the Bremen Kammerphilharmonie, the Menninger Hofkapelle Orchestra, Voronezh Philharmonie in Russia, the Jupiter Symphony Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of the Americas and the National Symphony of Costa Rica. A champion of new music, Mr. Ramirez has premiered several concertos for viola dedicated to him. Mr. Ramirez's collaborations include projects with pianists Saleem Adbud-Askar and Mikhail Muntyan, conductors Kent Nagano and Kristjan Jarvi, and composer Pierre Boulez (in a performance of Le Marteau Sans Maitre at Carnegie Hall, with the composer as conductor).
Among these are El Concierto de la Luna, by Grammy-Award-winning Costa Rican composer Carlos Castro, Albeniz Phantasy for viola and orchestra by David Robert Coleman (performed at the Konzerthaus in Berlin and broadcast live by the Deutsche Welle in Germany), a concerto for viola and orchestra and a multi-instrumental concerto for one player on sitar, viola d'amore and jazz violin by composer Gene Pritsker. He has started the revival of some concertos for viola by Centro-American composers including the Costa Rican composers Benjamin Gutierez and Alejandro Cardona. Mr. Ramirez is currently researching and writing articles on this music and the music history of the Centro-American.

Born in Moscow, graduated from Moscow Conservatory in 1995 as pianist and music historian. During that time also was studying vocal in the Moscow Institute of Theatre Arts on Taganka . Then she became a teacher of jazz vocal there. Since 2002 Ekaterina Chernousova has been a solo performer of the Russian President Orchestra, which works with such renowned artists as Iosif Kobzon, Luciano Pavarotti, Igor Butman, and others. Before that she combined work as a reporter for Nedelya (Izvestiyas weekly supplement) and concertmaster of The Kremlin Ballet Theater. Also she is a soloist of Presidential Orchestra of Russian Federation (since 2002.) Before that, Ekaterina has worked as a pianist in Kremlin ballet theatre. Since 1997, she studied jazz with well-known Russian pianist Daniel Kramer and performed in Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, at several jazz festivals in Moscow and other cities of Russia. Ekaterina performs in Moscow and other Russian cities with the ensemble named Komnati (Rooms) which she created in 2001 and has been directing since then.
In December of 2004 Rooms got the first prize in vocal nomination (Ekaterina Chernousova) at the International Festival in Kazan City (Tatarstan). In 2005 the ensemble performed in Smolensk, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Tula, and other cities of Russia and Finland. This year she also took part in the recording of CD with ethno- jazz musicians Bob Amaker (USA) and M.Madson (Germany).
Then she participated in ethno-jazz music jazz festivals in Russia and Finland as a pianist and vocalist. Now she continues performing in jazz clubs in Russia and participates in concerts with many famous Russian musicians, like Slava Gorsky, Oleg Kireyev, Anatoly Gerasimov and others. In December 2005, Ekaterina participated in Jazz voices festival in Moscow and Tver. In December of 2006 she was awarded the third prize (nomination vocals) at the International Golden Hanukiya Festival for the song Im Telech.
In February, 2006, she visited the U.S. through the Open World Leadership Program. The group of seven young Russian jazz musicians, including Chernousova, performed at Seattle's best jazz club, Dimitrious Jazz Alley, and then at the biggest jazz festival in U.S. Northwest - Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival (Moscow, Idaho). Russian musicians worked with students and teachers of Music College at University of Idaho the Lionel Hampton Music School, gave 4 master classes during festival and performed closing 2d day of festival in front of six thousand people at the Kibbie Dome/

At present, Ekaterina Chernousova recorded 2 program - called Feeling Russia and Russian Round Dances in Jazz Rhythm
. This programs were performed by Rooms. The soundtracks blend Russian tunes and modern funk and down-bit rhythms. One of the compositions was successfully performed at Etnosphera - Russian Music Festival held by the composer S. Filatov.
At the same time vocal jazz concerts were held in Moscow (jazz clubs, Glinka Museum of Musical Culture) and other Russian cities Yaroslavl, Saratov( with Alexander Vinitsky), Obninsk. In June 2006, Ekaterina had a successful vocal concert (together with Anton Bukanov, piano) in Bombay (India). In December 2006, Ekaterina took part as a pianist at the International Childrens Church Music Festival in Helsinki (Finland) hosted by Hartvall-Аrena, the largest concert hall of Finland. 14,000 attended the Festival.
Last November, Rooms performed at the Jazz Eurasia 2007 Festival in Orenburg with its Oriental program Im Telech. And in December 2007, Ekaterina Chernousova participated as a vocalist in the New Year Concert of Yaroslavl Jazz Band.

Sándor Sára made his exceptional document series in 1982 about the destruction of the 2nd Hungarian Army at the River Don. The survivors of the Hungarian apocalypse - more than 100 officers, enlisted men and unarmed forced laborers - after forty years of enforced silence, had an opportunity to talk about the experienced horrors in this 25 hours long documentary, which was made from a 100+ hours raw footage material.
On January 13, 1943, Soviet forces, overwhelming in numbers and equipment, began the Voronezh-Kharkov Strategic Offensive Operation. During this offensive the Red Army rapidly destroyed the Hungarian Second Army on the Don River Bent.
During its activity on the Eastern front (from April 1942 to May 1943), the Second Hungarian Army's losses were enormous. Of an initial force of about 200,000 Hungarian soldiers and Jewish forced-laborers, about 40,000 KIA, 30,000 WIA, and 26,000 taken prisoners of war. Only about 100,000 men returned to Hungary, scapegoated by the Germans for the catastrophic Axis defeat.
I will try to make English subtitles to this exceptional series in the next months.
