PRAGUE, VYŠEHRAD, PRAGUE CASTLE , THE OLDEST BUILDING, CZECH REPUBLIC
This article is about a place in the Czech Republic. For the Prague Metro station, see Vyšehrad (Prague Metro). For other similarly named places, see Visegrad (disambiguation).
Vyšehrad (Czech for upper castle) is a historical fort located in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. It was built, probably in the 10th century, on a hill over the Vltava River. Situated within the castle is the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, as well as the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous people from Czech history, among them Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Karel Čapek, and Alphonse Mucha. It also contains one of Prague's oldest surviving buildings, the Rotunda of St Martin from the 11th century. The oldest buildings in Prague are located within Prague Castle. The Basilica St. Martin, which was built from 900-950, and the Church of the Virgin Mary, which was built in the year 870.
Local legend holds that Vyšehrad was the location of the first settlement which later became Prague, though thus far this claim remains unsubstantiated., Vyšehrad je historické hradiště a pevnost na skále nad pravým břehem řeky Vltavy ve čtvrti Vyšehrad v Praze.

Kampa (also Na Kampě) is an island in the Vltava river in central Prague on the side of Malá Strana. Charles Bridge crosses its northern tip and is connected to the island by the street Ulice na Kampě. It is separated from Malá Strana by a narrow artificial channel to the west called the Devil's Stream (Čertovka), a waterway dug to power water mills (no longer existent). It is supposedly named after a sharp-tongued woman who lived in a local home called the Seven Devils.( )
Kampa – sztuczna wyspa, a właściwie półwysep o powierzchni około hektara położony w centrum Pragi, w dzielnicy Malá Strana. Leży między rzeką Wełtawą, a wypływającą i wpływającą do niej Čertovką (Czarcim Potokiem) – sztucznym ciekiem wodnym utworzonym w celu napędzania 3 kół młyńskich zasilających młyn Wielki Przeor.

Prague: The Right Bank of the Vltava / From Charles Bridge to Vyšehrad Fortress
Prague beyond the historical castle district of Malá Strana. In this video I venture across Charles Bridge, taking you past the Astronomical Clock and the Tyn Church. Then on we had past the Basilica of St. James, Powder Tower (with panoramic views of the Old Town). Going past the Basilica of St. James, we go towards the Rudolfinum and across the Vltava to Letenské sady, walking down from we end at the Straka Acedemy. In our journey we'll also see some of the Jewish sites of heritage, although on my day of visit to that part of the Old Town, they were unfortunately closed.

Hanavsky pavilon - neo-Baroque building, located in the park Letenské sady in Prague's Holešovice. Cast iron structure, designed by Otto Haisera, created to celebrate the jubilee of the Czech exhibition in 1891, as a representative pavilion smelter, which was owned by the Prince Vilém Hanavsky - hence the name of the object. It is also the first building in Prague, formed from iron, concrete and glass. Place popular among photographers because of the view 5 bridges on the Vltava.
