Wanamaker Kempton and Southern Railroad, 8/16/09
Went up to Kempton, PA today to take some videos of the WK&S. Steam engine #65 was not running due to a maintenance issue, so #7258, 45-ton GE diesel handled the excursions today. I also rode the train in the open car as well in addition to doing some video. Enjoy the video!!
Steam on the Wanamaker Kempton and Southern Railroad
On this beautiful autumn day in 2009 the Porter 0-6-0 steam locomotive pulled a passenger consist through the hills and valleys of Pennsylvania. This lovely tourist railroad has a great selection of equipment and a very well run operation. An open air gondola car is avaiable for photography and those who like a great view with free smoke and cinders included.

Wilmington & Western #58: Night Steam to Hockessin
It was the evening of December 30, 2018, and the Wilmington & Western Railroad had just ran their last Holiday Lights Express train of 2018. As a thank you to the hard-working volunteers, there would be an unadvertised 9 pm train that would run the entire length of the line, from the station in Greenbank, to the end of the line in Hockessin, DE. Unbeknownst to the volunteers, the steam crew decided to have a little fun and fire up their recently-restored 0-6-0 #58 for one final trip of the year, and pull the specially-lit train to Hockessin, instead of the normal diesel power. With some added lighting, and the diesel in idle, #58 would be doing all of the work out on the line, and I was given a heads up that this would be happening, so there would be video coverage from the trip. While all of the shots are great, the last shot, of #58 pulling the entire consist up Hockessin Hill at night, is especially impressive. With very few cars out on the nearby roads, and the locomotive's stack talk as crisp as ever, it's a show for the auditory senses. So turn up the volume for the last shot, and enjoy Night Steam to Hockessin!!

Chasing US Air Force 1655 at CSRM ft. Bonus clips.
On Memorial Day, the California State Railroad Museum decided to run Their Ex. US Air Force GE 80 Ton diesel locomotive on their weekend excursion train rides. This is the first time to my knowledge of it running the trains, and that being said I had to go catch this rare occurrence. Also, here are bonus clips of couple mainline trains at Vacaville station along with Ex US Army 20 ton Number 2 doing switch duties at CSRM. Hope you all enjoy and remember to like and subscribe!
