David's been here is Unplugged and Uncut at Prague's Wallenstein Palace. This 15-16th Century construction was home to a wealthy General who enjoyed only 12 months of its existence before being assassinated in 1634. Though it stayed in the Wallenstein family until 1945, it's now the home to the Senate of the Czech Republic. DBH Guides bring you all the best sites of Prague in DBH Guide: Czech Republic.

Secret Park near Prague Castle, CZECHIA ????????
Just beneath Prague Castle is located a secret park. I say secret, because you don't see it from the street and would not even know it's there.
It has quite a few art installations and some really nice views of the castle, as well a large pond and a peacock.
Exit at Malostranska Metro or Tram and walk behind the tall wall to the The Wallenstein Garden. It's free entry.
It's a great place to visit and have a drink or lunch.
If you can't find it, just ask a local person to show you the

Scenes from the Prague Castle South Gardens (Jižní zahrady), Czech Republic
Occupying the long, narrow band of land below the Castle, South Gardens are quite small gardens linked together: the Paradise Garden (Rajská zahrada) with a circular pavilion, the 19th-century Garden on the Ramparts (Zahrada Na valech) has two obelisks, and the Hartig Garden has a Baroque music pavilion and beautiful statues.
The Paradise Garden dates back to the first half of the 16th century. Their current appearance was designed by architect Plečnik in the 1920s, along with the On the Ramparts Garden, which originally should have been a natural park. Hartig Garden with the Music Pavilion was added in the 1960s. The gardens provide a breathtaking panoramatic view of Lesser Town, Old Town and nearby Petřín Hill.

Golden Lane is a street situated at the Prague Castle, Czech Republic. Its name is connected with 16th century alchemists, who had to look there, according to legends, for a reaction to produce gold. Even though the lane was temporarily called the Street of Alchemists or Alchemists' Alley, alchemists have never worked or lived there.
Golden Lane consist of tiny colored houses. Today it is a part of small and big castle ring (i.e. entrance is available for paying a fee), while from the closing hour of Prague Castle interiors it is open for free. Nowadays there are many souvenir shops in the houses and there is a medieval museum of armory within the former 14th-century fortification accessible from the Golden Lane.( )
Poddasza domków tworzą chodnik obronny, łączący wieże Białą i Daliborską.( )

Zahrada 1
The Waldstein Garden, covering an area of more than 14,000 square metres, is the second largest garden in the centre of Prague; only Prague Castle gardens are larger.
The garden was created in the style of an Italian manneristic park, and as surviving letters by the sculptor Adrian de Vries show, Albrecht Waldstein himself actively participated in its shaping through his proposals and comments.
The Waldstein Garden is divided into two geometrically distinct parts. In the larger part you can see the largest Sala Terrena in Prague and in front of it a fountain with a sculpture of Venus and Cupid. In 1910, the fountain was placed in a marble pond which had previously been a separate fountain. Also in this part of the Waldstein Garden you can see the mysterious, artificial stalactite wall. If visitors take a careful look at the stalactite wall, they may recognize hidden silhouettes of animals such as frogs and snakes or grimacing faces. In the second, smaller part of the Waldstein Garden you will find, for example, a large pond with an artificial island where a sculpture of Hercules with a club in his hand stands, ready to strike the dragon at his feet. There is also a glasshouse and the Riding Hall here.
