EXPLORING PORTUGAL, a walking tour of beautiful and HISTORIC SINTRA ????
SUBSCRIBE: - Sintra, Portugal. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Sintra is a resort town in the foothills of Portugal’s Sintra Mountains, near the capital, Lisbon. A longtime royal sanctuary, its forested terrain is studded with pastel-colored villas and palaces. The Moorish- and Manueline-style Sintra National Palace is distinguished by dramatic twin chimneys and elaborate tilework. The hilltop 19th-century Pena National Palace is known for a whimsical design and sweeping views.
Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture: salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes, the Algarve's beaches are a major destination and much of the nation’s architecture dates to the 1500s–1800s, when Portugal had a powerful maritime empire.

Hiking Around Sintra | Rediscovering Portugal
A small adventure to the Reserva Natural de Cascais-Sintra in Portugal. We heard there was an awesome view, so we went looking for it.
And then went for a quick golden hour goodness on our way down. Guincho never disappoints.

A walk in Sintra , Portugal
Hiking Sintra
I hiked about 10 miles from Cabo da ROCA to Praia do Magoito on 6/17/2018. This video includes some of the highlights.

Explore our beautiful coast line and walk through the unknown in search of the best kept secrets of the forest. Get to know the nature of Cascais and Sintra with a relaxing stroll or a vigorous trot. We will tailor it to each participant’s physical condition.
Hiking in Romantic Sintra, Portugal ????????| Off the beaten track. Away from tourists.
One of my favourites summer activities is hiking around the mountains, and Sintra is a perfect place to do this. Just 40-minutes from Lisbon, this place might be known for its romantic palaces and castles, but it's also a wonderful place to go on hiking, with Serra da Sintra spreading across a 16-km range of hiking trails, surrounded by nature, mountainous landscape, and all those magical castles.
Follow me as I go on a day trip in Sintra, dodge tourists and traverse a quieter, off the beaten path along the mountain range, explore the lush forest, pick some blackberries, enjoy the summer air and talk about how important it is to connect to nature, whilst we can.

Sintra - Portugal | World Wanderista
When traveling to Lisbon in Portugal, you should definitely consider a day trip to Sintra. This town is absolute bliss for everyone who adores romantic palaces, castles and gardens. Walking around in this magical place makes you feel as if you’re in a fairytale. I visited three palaces: Palacio da Pena, the Moorish Castle (Castelo dos Mouros) and Quinta da Regaleira. But there are way more to explore (but I advise you to stay longer then) !
I hope this little video can give you the right impression of Sintra. Enjoy!

The Most West Beach in Europe | Hidden in Sintra, Portugal
We spent half day with friends on the beach of Praia da Ursa, the most west beach of Europe. It is located near Cabo da Roca in Sintra. By going down to the beach you need some tough walking, hich takes around 12-15 mins walking down from the narrow and unexploited road of the mountain. Highly recommended for a half day trip here in Sintra!!
