The population of Colorado
To find the population of Colorado, we have to integrate the population density over a 2-dimensional regoin. This involves chopping the region into little rectangles (counties?), computing the population of each one, adding them up, and taking a limit.

Tales of the San Joaquin: A River Restored 2014 short
Tales of the San Joaquin presents a contemporary and historical overview of California's San Joaquin River. For sixty years the river had been completely dried by water diversion for agriculture. After a twenty-year lawsuit, the river is now being restored as a habitat for spawning salmon. This is the story of that river.
Hotel Room Tour: The Ameristar Hotel and Casino, Blackhawk, CO
After discovering that my original hotel tour was never ever going to make it to being uploaded, I decided that I would re-take my tour in pieces over an extended amount of time. This is the first part, the hotel room tour. The room you see here is a standard double queen room. As you might suspect, there are two queen beds, however no couch, these rooms are only designed to hold four people. There is a table and a small chair with it though, and if you so desire (and are small enough) you could potentially sleep there. There is also a fair size closet and considerably large bathroom for a room this size.
*If you have any inquiries about this facility or its rooms, feel free to ask me and I'll answer to the best of my abilities.
*EXCEPTION: I can't say much about the casino, I am under 21.

How to Use a Pedometer
Watch more How to Get Fit Fast videos:
Pedometers work by counting the number of steps you take, and multiplying that number by a pre-programmed step length. Learn how to keep track of your steps.
Step 1: Position the pedometer
Position the pedometer in your waistband, directly above your knee, so that it faces straight up and down. It should not tilt to one side, and should fit snug close to your body.
Step 2: Measure your step length
Measure your step length and enter it into the pedometer. A simple way to measure your step length is to make a mark behind your heel, walk 10 steps, and mark the spot where the same heel ends up. Your step length is that distance divided by 10.
Step 3: Test the pedometer
Test the pedometer for accuracy by taking 100 steps. If the pedometer indicates that you have walked between 85 and 115 steps, it is 85% accurate. If the measured accuracy is not sufficient, try placing the pedometer on your side over your hip and repeating the experiment.
Tip
Be aware that walking on slopes, up or down stairs, or bent over will affect the pedometer's accuracy.
Step 4: Track the pedometer readings
Keep track of the readings on the pedometer to learn whether you are meeting your activity goals and to help you develop a program to lose weight.
Did You Know?
Thomas Jefferson has been credited with developing a pedometer over 200 years ago.

William Paul Young: The Shack and its Aftermath | Talks at Google
William Paul Young wrote *The Shack* to his children, hoping it would give them a better picture of God. He first printed 15 copies at a local copy center thinking this was enough to share with family and friends. Ten years later, it has become one of the top selling books of the 21st century and was recently been made into a major motion picture. William Paul Young shares stories that have come about from the book, and how he had to change his own to even write the book.
