Inside you can explore Wellington’s career, the story of his life and death and even see the original Wellington Boots. Outside, discover majestic the sea view and eight acres of magnificent gardens and woodland, now home to the Lord Warden.

Walmer Castle and Gardens
We take a trip to Walmer Castle, explore the Queen Mother's garden and play a giant game of jenga.
The cloud yew hedges that line the broadwalk are as a result of neglect during the Second World War, and then made worse by the heavy snow fall of winter of 1947. Today the hedges have become a signature of the castle gardens is certainly what I can remember from visiting the garden as a young child.
