This 100 foot tall Funtime Star Flyer opened at the Puyallup Fair in 2011 and although it is by no means the tallest we've ridden, it does offer great views of the fair and surrounding area.
The Washington State Fair takes place twice a year in April (Spring Fair) and September and is located near Seattle in Puyallup, Washington.

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is one of the destination events for the Pacific Northwest, held from April 1-30, celebrating millions of tulips bursting into bloom.

Here a few fun facts that you might not know about the Washington State Fair:
The very first year of the fair was in 1900, and about 5,500 families were in attendance. Since the 1980s, the fair has had over one million visitors each year… and it only continues to grow!In 2014, 1.3 million fair scones were sold.There are a whopping 165 food stands at the fair, with everything from classic Krusty Pups to fried butter! The highest structure in all of the Puyallup is the fair’s Extreme Scream ride. It’s 185 feet tall! In 2014, over 29,000 people went on the popular ride.
Kids in Puyallup schools love getting their free fair tickets! In 2014, 650,406 complimentary student tickets were handed out.
