Lat Phrao is an area about 10 minutes away from Asok by subway.
Phahon Yothin station has Central Latphrao and Union Mall.
There is a street food store between the station and Central Latphrao.
The price is very cheap and tasty.
There are large department stores around here and people gather.
Besides this, the Rotu(Mini bus) leaves from here.
For that reason, it is crowded with students and workers on business from the evening.
If you want to eat Thai cuisine here, you might as well as learn simple Thai language.
Most clerks can not speak English. However, many things are possible in English if only price exchange is possible.

Wat Lat Phrao (วัดลาดพร้าว), is a monastery in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (กรุงเทพมหานคร, กรุงเทพฯ, Bangkok) and is nearby to Ratchadapisek, Din Daeng and Ratchadaphisek.
Wat Lat Phrao is also close to Rongphayaban Sayam (โรงพยาบาลสยาม), Tamnak Chao Mae Kuan Im Maha Photisat (ตำหนักเจ้าแม่กวนอิมมหาโพธิสัตว์ ), Rongphayaban Sen Kha Lot (โรงพยาบาลเซนต์คาร์ลอส), Prestigious Train Hall, Sathani Rotfai Mochit (สถานีรถไฟหมอชิต, สถานีหมอชิต), Rongphayaban Meyo (โรงพยาบาลเมโย) and Sathani Rotfai Bang Sue (สถานีรถไฟบางซื่อ).

SMALL LOCAL THAI COMMUNITY - BAN BU | Thonburi, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok, Thailand
My curiosity lead me to this small Thai community known as Ban Bu, in Thonburi, Bangkok Not, Bangkok, Thailand.
I saw some locals walk through a small pathway near Thonburi train station, so my curiosity got the best of me and made me explore.
I really like Ban Bu community, there's some old traditional Thai houses and stores. The alleyway itself looks really interesting, but there are quite a lot of motorbikes riding through there. At times, speeding through, which can be a bit dangerous.
But never the less, Ban Bu community is a place I highly recommend if you want to see the local side of Bangkok, Thailand.
