Bee Cliff Cabins, LLC., nestled in the mountain valley of Siam on the Watauga River. The cabins are a great place for fishing, hunting, or just a peaceful family get-a-way. Three of the cabins are about 40 feet across a small road from the river and the others are located across the street on a hill with a beautiful scenic view. Please enjoy the kayaking trip we took while camping at Watauga Dam campground, Elizabethton, Tennessee. kayaking on this was a bit tough, trying to stop, take pics, vlog was not easy. The current wanted to have me go a totally different direction compared to where I wanted to look??!
2nd part of the vlog we were back at the campsite, I was hoping to capture a duck couple but they didn't like it that I got kind of close to get them in the video & waddle away. Oh well they are there ... I just didn't get close enough??! Please picture if you will 2 cute mallard ducks. ( ;

Bee Cliff Rapids is about a mile downstream from Wilbur Dam in Elizabethton, Tennessee. It is a major feature for kayakers on that section of the Watauga River.
Over two years, I video taped the Bee Cliff Rapids on the Watauga River three times. Here is a comparison of three cfs flow rates. At 2000-2500, and 2500 cfs, kayakers can expect to experience greater waves and turbulence compared to 2714 cfs..

This was filmed using the DJI Phantom 3 drone. The waterway is the Caney Fork river. It is a tailwater of Center Hill lake. The river is popular to fly fish for trout. The Caney Fork is near Cookeville and Nashville.

The Caney Fork River is a beautiful 143 miles of clear water river between Nashville and Knoxville. The river is known for it's year round cooler water temperatures, allowing for great Trout fishing. The Caney Fork River is known as a hotspot for canoe and kayakers.
