Cruising Through History, A 3-State Tour From Watch Hill
This timeless trip begins with a classic ride.
The car is a 1913 Model T, says Captain Jack Spratt, as he greets his guests at Rhode Island's famed Ocean House.
His old Ford takes folks on a scenic drive through Watch Hill, but that's not all. At the cove, they board a restored yacht called Encore and head out for a sightseeing tour that's both historic and gorgeous.
It's a very interesting area, a beautiful area. I'm particularly interested in the history, Colonial history, the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, says this seasoned sailor who donates all proceeds of the charters to the Mystic Seaport.

Fire Island's Secret Beach, Democrat Point
CORRECTION: At timestamp 2:25 it states the lighthouse marked the end in 1858, but actually the end of the island at that time was where the Robert Moses water tower exists today.
A journey to Democrat Point and its story. Learn some history of Fire Island and it's ever-changing western peninsula. Beautiful views from the ground and air as we circle the entire western end of Fire Island. Come take a trip to the end of an island and witness mother natures ability to create land.

Watch Hill Striper Fishing 5 16 2015
My first day striper fishing this year. I'm using a 9 weight rod with a 12 pound test tippet and my own fly design using olive, chartreuse and white bucktail with Krystal Flash, a UV resin head on a size 2 hook. A relatively small fish as striped bass go, but it is one of the first I've ever caught on a fly rod. Beautiful day on the peninsula near Watch Hill lighthouse in Westerly, Rhode Island.
Watch Hill and Napatree Point
Watch Hill, Rhode Island including Napatree Point abounds in beauty. The refreshing air
and the sound of the ocean waves add to the enjoyment.

Plum Beach Lighthouse
They're is nothing more Rhode Island than vanity plates. Rather than the low numbers or one that reads 2HOT4U, Rhode Islanders are being asked to adorn their cars with a local landmark, to which many have never even been. In some ways, it's like a monet, magestic and beautiful from far away, but up close, the Plum Beach Lighthouse is another story.
