This was filmed at Wayne National Forest near Nelsonville, Ohio. On the last Sunday of atv session. There are over 70 miles of marked trails there!

The Wayne National Forest is located in the south-eastern part of the US state of Ohio, in the Unglaciated Allegheny Plateau. It is the only national forest in Ohio. Forest headquarters are located between The Plains and Nelsonville, Ohio, on US Route 33, overlooking the Hocking River.
The originally forested land was cleared for agricultural and lumbering use in the late 18th and 19th century, but years of poor timbering and agricultural practices led to severe erosion and poor soil composition. The Wayne National Forest was started as part of a reforestation program.The forest comprises three administrative and purchase units: Athens, Marietta, and Ironton. Many of the lands included in the forest are former coal-mining lands, and much of this land is owned by the federal government without the mineral rights, those having been retained by former owners.
As of January 2012, the forest has 240,101 acres (972 km2) in federal ownership within a proclamation boundary of 832,147 acres (3,368 km2).
The Athens Unit is located in Athens, Hocking, Morgan, Perry, and Vinton Counties, and includes 67,224 acres (272 km²) as of 2002. It features the Wildcat Hollow Trail, a hiking trail just northeast of Burr Oak State Park in Morgan County; the Stone Church Horse Trail in Perry County; the Utah Ridge Recreation Area in Athens County, and the Dorr Run ATV Trails in Hocking County.
The Marietta Unit is located in Monroe, Noble and Washington Counties, and includes 63,381 acres (256 km²) as of 2002, with over half of the total being within Washington County.
The Ironton Unit is located in Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence and Scioto Counties, and includes 99,049 acres (401 km²) as of 2002, with over two-thirds of the total being within Lawrence County.The area of Ohio included within the Forest is based on late Paleozoic geology, heavy in sandstones and shales, including redbeds, with many coal beds. The topography is typically very rugged, with elevation changes typically in the 200–400-foot range.
The North Country Trail passes through several areas of the Wayne, in which it is coincident with the Buckeye Trail and the American Discovery Trail.

Cruising Wayne National Forest KTM 300
Cruising the double track at Wayne National Forest outside Nelsonville, Ohio. Best time to ride there is when the leaves are down so you can see around the corners better. Would love to have the trails be one way so you could really open it up and not worry about taking a quad head on. What they really need is single track in the vast amount of land they have, they could attract a lot more riders there. I make it there about once every 3 years just to meet up with friends. Not a big fan as it is all double track with quads and side by sides that fly around corners. No legal hill climbs or real play area's. Such a large amount of land and potential, wasted.

Sasquatch In The Wayne National Forest: Finding Bigfoot
The Sasquatch,being a migratory individual, are seldom found in one location as some might wish to claim. Recently I was engaged in a discussion with the man in charge of the Ohio Bigfoot Conference here in Ohio. He claims that the Sasquatch are found mostly in places like 1) West Branch State Park and 2) Salt Fork State Park...Too many people who say they research the Sasquatch claim that they are seeing them in the same locations time after time, some claim there are several of the Sasquatch living in family groups in the same locations for several years. I even had one man say to me once that the Ohio Bigfoot was exclusive to Salt Fork State Park and was found no where else. Needless to say,Salt Fork was the only place he went and add in the fact he has never seen one proves he doesn't know of what he speaks.
The Sasquatch is The most elusive unknown individual on Earth and the reason is that they are migratory and never stay in one place for very long. Several years ago when I first started in this I figured this out,yet no one else seems to comprehend this. I also figured out by looking at alleged sighting reports that most were near the Buckeye Trail, which circles the entire state through forested land. This trail does pass through such places as West Branch & Salt Fork State Parks.
So in order to track and find the Sasquatch in Ohio, I've been watching the Buckeye Trail closely...that is why the Wayne National Forest is high on my list of search areas.
A Drive Down Route 685 in Buchtel Ohio
A drive down SR 685 in my work van. If you turn up the volume you can hear me having a little bit of fun with the sport shift transmission. I need to come back and hit this road on my Yamaha FZ6R sportbike! Per wikipedia...State Route 685 (SR 685) is a short east–west state highway in southeastern Ohio, a U.S. state. The western terminus of State Route 685 is at State Route 78 in the village of Buchtel. Its eastern terminus is at State Route 13 approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest of Jacksonville.
Existing in the northern portion of Athens County, State Route 685 functions as a connector route between State Route 78 and State Route 13 as it makes its way through the Wayne National Forest. The designation of State Route 685 came into being in the early 1960s, replacing what had been known as State Route 675, due to the construction of Interstate 675 in the Dayton vicinity, and the fact that Ohio does not duplicate numbers among different types of highways.

Finally able to get out while on vacation in Hocking Hills in southern Ohio. Just trying to get a general survey of an area I don't know.
Hiking at Moonville Tunnel in Ohio.
Lori Wehner and i set off on a road trip today not really knowing where we were going at first. I suggested the Tunnel at Moonville in the heart of Zaleski State Forest, a few miles from Lake Hope State Park. i have read, heard and even seen photos and videos of the sightings of ghosts and orbs there. in one of my photos from inside the tunnel I am sure That I got at least one shot of an orb (floating spirit). We were just walking along taking photos and enjoying the sites and we came to one end of the Tunnel and meet some very nice people on horseback. We chatted with them for a good while. If you see this, it was very nice meeting and spending the time talking with you. :)

We went to the Moonville Tunnel Festival. Moonville Tunnel is a haunted train tunnel that is now a rails to trails path. The Festival is to celebrate the history as well as Halloween.
