Weeki Wachee Springs - A Must Do in Florida!
A mermaid show, waterpark, boat ride, and crystal clear water all for a great price! Weeki Wachee Springs is a must do for any family visiting the area. It's definitely worth the drive to check out! Being our first visit we learned a few lessons and have some valuable tips to offer you. As always, if you have questions or comments, we'd love to hear from you below!
Monopod
I managed to find 3 of the ones I currently have on Amazon, but my favorite Brand isn't there anymore, but I found one pretty close and that would be the first one. The second would be for heavy duty underwater, like scuba, so no need to get this right away. The third is a great monopod, but I don't necessarily like the ball head at the top. I like that it's not a gopro attachment, so I don't have to us an adaptor but it's not as quick action when I'm adjusting pitch all the time for selfie to front facing. The last one I just picked up and haven't done much with yet.

Weeki Wachee Springs State Park: More than just mermaids
From mermaid shows to up-close encounters with wildlife in crystal-clear water, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is one of Florida’s most unique family destinations.
The park, of course, is most famous for the underwater mermaid performances. As they have since 1947, their shows take place in the historic theater right above the source of the spring.
But it’s not just mermaids. The adjacent Buccaneer Bay waterpark features giant slides and water that’s never too hot, while the river is a popular kayaking destination.
Drones aren't usually allowed at the park, but FOX 13 received special access to fly.
