LONDON WALK | Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of the Wellington Arch (also known as Constitution Arch, or originally, the Green Park Arch) and its surrounding area.
See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring the Wellington Arch on Apsley Way and surrounding memorials. The tour takes place at Hyde Park Corner in central London between the corners of Hyde Park and Green Park on the large traffic island containing several memorials, and connects to Hyde Park Corner Underground Station.
Sights seen along the tour include the Wellington Arch with a quadriga on top, Apsley Gate, Australian War Memorial, Equestrian Statue Of The Duke Of Wellington, Machine Gun Corps Memorial, and New Zealand War Memorial.
Footage recorded August 2017.

British Army Men Migrating Through the Streets (Wellington Arch, London)
We were just hanging around by the Wellington Arch in London and we saw a stream of army guys waltz on past. Who are they? What are they doing? Who knows!
Wellington Arch, also known as Constitution Arch or (originally) as the Green Park Arch, is a Grade I-listed triumphal arch by Decimus Burton that forms a centrepiece of Hyde Park Corner in central London, between corners of Hyde Park and Green Park; it stands on a large traffic island with crossings for pedestrian access. From its construction in 1826 until 1830 the arch stood in a different location nearby; it was moved to its current site in 1882–1883. It originally supported a colossal equestrian statue of the 1st Duke of Wellington by the sculptor Matthew Cotes Wyatt, as a result of which it has acquired the name the Wellington Arch in the vernacular. A bronze quadriga (an ancient four-horse chariot) by Adrian Jones has surmounted it since 1912.
