US Forestry Service's Cooperative Forestry 25th Anniversary
This video from Western Heritage Horticultural Society celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the US Forest Service’s Cooperative Forestry endeavors. The Society’s founding members and other participating Lea County gardeners promote the use of water conservation by planting native plants and by sharing the commitment of best landscaping practices in New Mexico’s Lea County area.
The Cooperative Forestry Staff, of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service, works with States, private landowners, and other partners to promote healthy forests and livable communities throughout the United States. The New Mexico State Forestry service and the Urban and Community Forestry Program work in cooperation with the US Forest Service and advised the Society in the making of this video.
