Driving up to wheeler geologic area in creede co in my 2003 2wd 4runner. This is a long one but gets more interesting around 6:00.

2003 2wd Limited 4runner backing down from the trail to the wheeler geologic area near Creede, CO. I got about 10 of 14 miles I think before having to turn around because the 4runner is only 2wd. This video is right after I turned around on the descent; it was a good bit tougher on the way up, just didn't get good video of that.

A geological phenomenon. Volcanic activity combined with millions of years of erosion. Way the heck back in a place that's very hard to get to. Walk in 14 miles round trip. Or drive in on absolutely horrible 4 wheel drive road for 28 miles round trip.
The Road to Creede - Colorado
My hiking adventure in Colorado begins with an early wake up call, coffee to the face, and a 4.5+ drive from Denver to Creede, Colorado with Sofia ( Even a snowstorm carrying 2-3 feet of snow couldn't stop us as we set out to reach our final destination in the San Juan Mountains before nightfall.
