Hiking White Clay Creek Delaware
I took a trip to Newark, Delaware to hike one of the many trails at White Clay Creek State Park. My hiking partners were my daughter Alyssa and my 2 year old golden retriever Nala. We followed the Mason Dixon Trail up and back for a total distance of 6.25 miles. We didn't quite get to the end of the trail and turned back because of time. The trail followed the White Clay Creek for the majority of the hike. My dog Nala loved stopping every chance she got to play in the creek.

White Clay Creek State Park, Creek Road, Side Trail East -- Oct. 31, 2010
This single-shot video follows a short trail from Creek Road Trail eastward to the west bank of White Clay Creek and ends with some views of the creek. This is in White Clay Creek State Park. (The park that is partially in view over the other bank is Coverdale Park, part of the New Castle County park system.)

White Clay Creek July 7, 2017
My son, my friend and I we riding again at White Clay Creek in Delaware. Unfortunately at the end of the ride the memory card was full.
We also tried out the MTB Project App that shows the trails and keeps track of you via GPS. We would hope that it would keep us from getting lost. It did work and we only made a few wrong turns due to our errors not the apps.

White Clay Creek Classic (2018) Leaders
Leading runners in the 12th grade race at the White Clay Creek Classic high school cross country race held in Newark, Delaware USA September 14, 2018 stretch into the 3rd mile heading home in the 5K event featuring 23 teams. This was held during the weekend of Hurricane Florence in the Carolinas.

White Clay Creek Classic 2018 Start
Some 23 high school teams competed in the 2018 version of the White Clay Creek Classic cross country race in Newark, Delaware USA. Here is the start to the 12th grade (senior) class competition. Boys and girls ran in the same race.

When I started this trip my goal was to always to make a video from each State but unfortunately we were hit by a huge storm during our weeks in Delaware, D.C. & Maryland so we decided to make the best of it and tie it all into one video. Luckily we ran into some cool folks along the way that made this portion of the trip memorable. Huge thanks to Evan, Brendan and the Busta Moves family for the good times!

Brandywine Creek State Park is a state park, located 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Wilmington, Delaware along the Brandywine Creek. Open year-round, it is 933 acres (378 ha) in area and was a dairy farm owned by the Du Pont family before becoming a state park in 1965. It contains the first two nature preserves in Delaware. These nature preserves are Tulip Tree Woods and Freshwater Marsh. Flint Woods is a satellite area of the park and has become the park's third nature preserve. Flint Woods is home to species of rare song birds and an old growth forest. The park's forests are part of the Northeastern coastal forests ecoregion.[1]
Fourteen miles of trails run the park, the longest being the Rocky Run Trail and the Greenways Trail. Brandywine Creek has a large population of bass, and Wilson's Run is known for its trout. Nearby parks include White Clay Creek State Park, Wilmington State Parks, and Bellevue State Park,More Info
