The White Cliffs of Dover need to get on your bucket list if they aren't already! They're an English iconic and provide a lovely walk through the Countryside and of course a long the cliff edge!
They're also so easy to visit from London, just 1 hour by train!

DOVER WHITE CLIFFS | Day Tour from London
Since it was a lovely summer day in England, we decided to go a day trip from London and hike to the famous White Cliffs of Dover overlooking Calais, France.
Also, it was Brian's birthday so we enjoyed the day exploring this lovely place.

Visiting Dover Castle and the White Cliffs of Dover
Looking back on our month in Europe, this day was for sure one of my favorites! We had a great time driving to Dover, eating lunch, exploring the castle and the tunnels, and then finally walking to the White Cliffs. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun with the kids. Dover was an awesome place to take kids and they loved it as much as we did. There's a lot of stairs so be sure to bring your baby carrier. But it's totally worth it.
This video is definitely a bit more of a memory video for us and less of a thought out travel film, but I hope you enjoy watching!

White Cliffs of Dover are just brilliant and worth to see. They are in east-south of England. If you are lucky enough and it's clear weather, you can see France from here (England)
Well, I wasn't so I hope you will if you go to visit this place. Anyway, it was an awesome trip and I enjoyed it so much. Beautiful weather (except strong wind), dangerous paths on the edge of the cliffs make this place a great spot for a day trip. You can take safer routes, or you can experience some adrenaline paths close to the edge. It's up to you. :)

The White Cliffs of Dover are cliffs that form part of the English coastline facing the Strait of Dover and France. The White Cliffs of Dover are part of the North Downs formation.
The White Cliffs of Dover face, which reaches up to 350 feet (110 m), owes its striking appearance to its composition of chalk accented by streaks of black flint. The White Cliffs of Dover stretch along the coastline for eight miles (13 km), spreading east and west from the town of Dover in the county of Kent, an ancient and still important English port.
The White Cliffs of Dover have great symbolic value in Britain because they face towards continental Europe across the narrowest part of the English Channel, where invasions have historically threatened and against which the White Cliffs of Dover form a symbolic guard. The National Trust calls the cliffs an icon of Britain, with the white chalk face a symbol of home and war time defence. Because crossing at Dover was the primary route to the continent before the advent of air travel, the white line of cliffs also formed the first or last sight of Britain for travellers. In World War II, thousands of allied troops on the little ships in the Dunkirk evacuation saw the welcoming sight of the White Cliffs of Dover .

Jedynie godzina pociągiem i przenosimy się w magiczny krajobraz urwisk – rozciągających się na przestrzeni 8 kilometrów – osiągających nawet ponad 100 metrów wysokości. W pogodne dni możemy wypatrzeć wybrzeże Francji, które oddalone jest jedynie o 35 kilometrów. Dover nazywane jest Bramą Anglii. Pro-EU WW2 Veterans Deliver Farewell Message in White Cliffs of Dover Projection
An anti-Brexit campaign group, Led By Donkeys, projected a pro-EU video onto the white cliffs of Dover, at the southern tip of the United Kingdom.
The video features messages from two British World War II veterans, Stephen Goodall and Sidney ‘Sid’ Daw, addressing the people of the European Union.
Both express anxiety over the UK’s formal exit from the EU, calling for solidarity and hope for renewed commitment between future generations.

Dover is a major ferry port in Kent, South East England. It faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, and lies south-east of Canterbury and east of Maidstone. The town is the administrative centre of the Dover District and home of the Dover Calais ferry through the Port of Dover. The surrounding chalk cliffs are known as the White Cliffs of Dover.
Archaeological finds have revealed that the area has always been a focus for peoples entering and leaving Britain. The name derives from the River Dour that flows through it.
The Port of Dover provides much of the town's employment, as does tourism
